My fast lap around Midfield 2 was a 54.933 seconds. i've saved it so as soon as I get an x-port, I'll try to see I can upload it.

Tomorrow I'll try a few other tracks. :D
which F1 did you use? F090/S or F094/S ?

O.Z beat my time, although I'm not sure if he posted it at
racing-line.

Nah its not there. So you are #1 at Racing Line 👍

Sough's F090s settings work pretty good on the F094s for Seattle, but I can't help thinking there must be a better way. I softened up the rear a little, and upped the TCS to 3, but I'm not really happy with it. Can either of you suggest something for this? I'm getting oversteer, especially in the first turn, I keep clipping the inner wall, or hitting it outright. If I feel it happeneing and try to correct it... well, your just going to fast and the correction is oversteered, too.

If your still oversteering at TCS 3, you want to lower your LSD - T and A,... perferably no higher than 15, IMO.

What are the rest of the sets?

If these are them,.. lemme think a minute....

Setting I used for seattle:
10/14
45/45
10/10
10/10
2.0/1.0
0.0/-.5
17/17
10/20/30
max downforce 0asm 3tcs set gears to top out on longest straight

a -1 or -1.5 on the fromt toe will open up the front tire a little more,... keeping the front from wanting to take the rear around too fast,.. helping the oversteer.

A possitive 1 or 1.5 on the rear will scootch the angle in a bit instead of out (as the -0.5 does),.... helping with oversteer.

What track are you on?

That looks about right. I'll try lowering the LSD. Maybe decel to 15?

Try a little crazyness and bump the Decel higher,... I often find myself gaining multiple tenths when I make that adjustment.

But I always gain better control of spinning the tires resulting in OS, when I drop the Tor. and Accel. A 5/5 on those two isnt super efficient concerning wheel spin, but it will make for the least amount of oversteer. A 60/60 will help accell when spinning, but forces oversteer.

some screenshots of ur time would be nice..

The F090/s is a fun car, used it for a couple of series on some other boards. My best times at some of the tracks are:
Cote: 1:14.036
Laguna: 1:00.380
Midfield: 0:54.870
Rome II: 1:06.251
Seattle: 1:11.515
TokyoII: 1:13.823

Keyboard messed up and posted before I had everything typed in...hehe

I might run this at some other tracks to take a break from running like a nut around DF II for the BC3.

midfeild: 50.343
deep forest: 53.4xx

there the only ones i remember lol:lol:

Here's a screenshot of my best times for laguna seca. My fave track for these cars as you need to be super-aggresive to get the times down. A good setup allows you to get the power on really early and some brave banzai moves through the corkscrew to the end of the lap will have you grinning!

I love this circuit and not just cos it's a real one -although my all time fave must be Autumn Ring. Hope that makes it to GT4.

It's been an age since I drove an F1, (that whole fairness thing kicked in).
Anyway I gassed up the 090s and checked the air in the tires, pulled a 57.496 at Midfield within three laps. I forgot how durn twitchy these things are.
I'm gonna have to back off on the spring rates as I'm still running the stock ones.
I'm also gonna have to drop my final drive numerically to raise my top end above 180.
Doubt seriously that I'll ever see a 54.xxx...
Under 1:00 is respectable. Not really fast for the car, but, respectable.
Back off the gas a bit earlier, so you can get back on earlier on exiting the turn.
BTW, Thanks for giving my a reason to dust of an F1.:D

Well, i havent touched one for ages (f1 i mean!) - u can see by the dates... i seem to have phases as to what I drive. I think it's cos I saw an indy race on TV at LS and thought 'I can go there!'.

Might give it another shot.. try midfield too although i reckon lots of setup changes are needed.

Been pootling round midfield and was averaging mis 53's till i stuck in a 52.7 - blinding!
But i know i can go faster, it was a bit scrappy in places.
That tightening left hander before the chicane is giving me grief as it always does in these cars. I always managed to get sucked in too early.

isnt the top speed on racing line 47 or something? its seems like a 52.7 is a perfect lap. how could you shave almost 6 seconds off?
btw, my best is 54.982

I didn't think the Polyphony 001 aand the F090 were the same car, the Polyphony 001 being analogous the the F094, which is faster.

My best around Laguna is a 0'59.949...I know if I put down some really hard lap times I might be able to break into 58 land but around that track it's a bit hard.

Clocked a 1.13.586 on Cote with the F090/S.

Ran some of my favorite tracks today with my turquiose and green F090.

Gran Valley 1:20.422
Cote 1:11.283 (1:10.605 with two wall touches)
Seattle 1:06.866
Rome 59.422
R5 58.489
I'll run a few other tracks later maybe.

Don't be too dismayed if you can't beat these. When I started with this game I ran about 1:30 gv, 1:18 cote, 1:05 rome, 1:11 seattle. Even when I got the 94s, I was still off these marks at first.

Setting I used for seattle:
10/14
45/45
10/10
10/10
2.0/1.0
0.0/-.5
17/17
10/20/30
max downforce 0asm 3tcs set gears to top out on longest straight.

Jesus christ... I lowered my Grand Valley PB by about 2 and a half seconds this evening with a 1:22.081 and thought I was pretty good. Can't even touch a 1:20 flat yet.

I'm curious as you run bother damper bound and rebound at 10 right? I was reading what GT suggests and moved mine to 2 and 8, and my ability to ride curbs skyrocketed, the cars a lot more stable and smooth. I haven't even touched my LSD settings, however I shifted my toe angles to 0 flat and increased my front wheel camber to 3.0, turn in does seem easier and cornering grip's good. I run 19/19 suspension rates on race circuits too, and 13/20 brake balance. Any comments?

... thats kool, here are two of my best timez...
midfield 1:05.007

Thats pure BS, thats 2.3 seconds faster than the top F094/s time. Are you sure you didnt mean 1'13.035 or 1'23.035?

Your in the F090/s correct? With 725 HP the F090/s isnt capable of anything below a 1'09.xxx at Tokyo.

I think he just typo'd.

Go me for lowering my GVS mark by about 4.5 seconds over the last few days, I'm down to a 1'19.562 and pretty stoked.
