BEST MOTORing Club
Welcome to the Best Motoring club! This is a gathering for all BM and HV fans. We will replicate the format of BM races in GT5 and relive some of the epic battles taken on Tsukuba, Suzuka, Fuji, and Motegi. In addition, certain elements from Hot Version will be implemented, namely the tuned cars and possibly some touge as well.
It is important to note that the main purpose of the club is not to compete against other drivers, it is to replicate the style of races found in Best Motoring. Fun is more important than winning.

Schedule
Each week we will have a number of races. This number is not fixed, so some weeks there may be more races than others. This means that the date and times of the races are also not fixed. Although this may seem unorganized, it is to make sure everyone in the club will get a chance of racing at some point. Incidentally, I will not be the only one to host a race. You can too.

Format
Format
As mentioned, the racing format will be based on the real Best Motoring. Generally, Tsukuba will be the main venue, but for more high powered cars, Fuji, Suzuka, and Motegi will also be used. 5 laps will be the default number of laps for each circuit, but this number can change depending on the situation.
The most realistic settings will be used for the lobbies.

Cars
Cars
For the sake of realism and fairness, Premium and Standard cars will be used separately, never in the same race. The cars used will obviously vary for each race.
Comfort Softs will be used for ALL cars, regardless of power, Performance Points, class, and so on. This also applies to the tuned cars, so tuners be aware.

Drivers
Drivers
The club is open only to wheel users. In addition, your wheel must correspond to the transmission of the car you're driving. For example, if you're driving a car with a manual transmission in the game, your wheel must have a clutch and H-pattern shifter, and you must use it. Other wheels without the clutch and H-shifter can only use two pedal cars in-game.
This may seem unnecessary, but I find it adds to the realism, and thanks to GT5's wonky clutch and H-shifter implementation, it also adds to the fairness.
I will loosen this rule if too little people join.
