Well lads.
I feel like sharing now.
I think I have found best handling mr car in gt6.
I'm amazed with the handling, grip and power of this thing for second day in a row now (this really is a big thing).
Don't get me wrong, I'm not the best driver out there but this thing is a blast to drive.
I use g27 that I have for a while now but I did not expect that kind of performance from mr car.
McLaren MP4-12C.
I'm just lost for words how good this car is. It got me checking races for driving aids just in case TC or SRF was on but no. Only ABS 1.
I was checking out a lot of FR cars and nothing even come close to this one.
Is there any other MR cars that drive that good?

Not many. The MP4-12C is (arguably) the best car in the game at 600pp and below.

Another noteworthy car is the Audi R18. Low enough pp to be used in the 650pp events, where it'll demolish the opposition. The amount of grip it has is outrageous.

Will try the r18 and zonda c12 but I still can't fault the mclaren. Just won 10 laps of ascari with it. It feels like cheating. Thanks for the input guys.

A massive 👍 to maksiu3f after reading your post i went out and got me a McLaren MP4-12C, and smashed out some very easy wins in the s-class races Willow Springs, Apricot Hill and then Ascari(which turned into a mugging:lol:). That car just handles like a dream and awesome straight line speed.

The MP4-12C seemed like a dog to me in GT5, but yet in GT6 it seemed to have transformed into a beast. Great car 👍

i seem to remember that the mp4 in GT5 was the first car i had to drive with aids on it! but in GT6 its like an angel! weird huh...

Thanks for the input guys.
After trying few more cars MP4 still wins.
It is also one of the best modeled premium cars in the game.
I would highly recommend to try it in the 650pp Tuned car race in iB with cockpit view, hud off on Apricot Hill.
Another good one after that is 06 Ford GT Premium.
Can share my Mp4 tune if anyone is interested.
Cheers.

To me there's only one choice... Honda NSX TypeR.
Either stock or fully tuned. It's just an amazing machine. The chassis endures everything.

Take care every1

Very open question. There are so many different types of MR's - Group C's, LMP's, GT500's, GT3's, and a huge variety of race cars.

I am a bit biased, but i'd take an NSX any day, in road or race trim.

MP4 is currently the fastest stock road car round the 'Ring (https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/gt6-nürburgring-lap-time-board.294583/)... stock car, stock tyres (SH), oil change, no aids other than ABS, 6'48, around 1 second faster than the F1.

Incredibly fast, loads of grip, very stable on the brakes.

My personal favorite is an NSX on comfort tyres.
On the other hand, the Ferrari FXX is the fastest SH lap I've ever recorded at 6:49 (Warranting a new machine class for it on my own board). It's also fairly well balanced as long as you're smooth with it.

I bought the MP4-12C last night and holy cow, it is on rails. No other MR car handles like this one. It is really quick, handles great, wow what a car. Now if only we could get a GT3 model for the racing series.

So without starting a hailstorm. With such a great handling car, it begs the question - why do so many MR cars have such vicious lift-off oversteer? This car's handling can not be an anomaly. But I will probably turn my much-tuned and now-really-good 458 to the side in favor of some romps in the McLaren.

The MP4-12C handles great but i just dont find it enjoyble to drive, Feels like a machine (which it is obviously, Now compare that to the F40 when i drive i feel like im in a relationship with it, We both have an understanding, If i treat it well and respect it it will not flip me out! (i hope she didnt hear me refer to her as an it!)

I did a few laps around Laguna Seca in the MP4-12C along with the 427 Cobra, C5 Z06 and some BMW M3/M5's as well as Audi S4 and RS6.

My best time was 1:32 in the McLaren. Just 3 laps or so with each of these cars.
1:37 in the 427 Cobra
1:35 in the C5 Z06

The Audi's and BMW's were close with a tip to the BMW M5.

For a MR car the McLaren is well set up out of the box to handle the HP of the engine.

The Cobra was the most difficult to control and get a smooth lap. The Corvette was almost tame by comparison and a little more stable under braking than the McLaren.

All cars were stock, no changes to anything out of the showroom other than oil changes that I might have done on them.

I'll try a few more MR cars this weekend to see how they compare to the McLaren MP4-12C.

Well put, if I drive the 458 properly, it is quick but it can give me a few unexpected moves if I push it too hard. I agree, it's an enjoyable but challenging experience. To get the best out of it I have to be on my toes but it feels wonderful when I am in the zone.

The MP4-12C however, is clinical and just great for hammering out laps one after another with little drama.

I love the 458, No hoover sound either which is a bonus, There are some cars i drive when i just want to go fast ast possible like you put it with little drama then there are cars like the F40 and 458 which i go to to enjoy my drive

This is right off of Top Gear BBC!

In stark contrast to GT5's version of the machine, which had all the wheelspin in the universe and handled like a small enzo.

That's true, soulful Italian versus clinical Brit. I haven't driven them yet IRL but I can see what Jezza and the lads mean. The video game version being very similar is a nice benefit.

Acura NSX is for some reason undriveable for me using g27.
Honda NSX the 2002 premium one is much better compared.
Stock Zonda R is good, stock Huayra is not bad either.
Have anyone noticed that mp4 is in sport rather than track mode?
