It kicks ass.

No spyware or any of that stupid bs, its a bit like Crapster, exept with much more files and such.

Its NOT based around mp3s.

It sucks, you have to have like a billion gigs of shared files or they kick you out.
Really??? WOW, guess I won't venture into that one. :(

don't always believe what is written... most of the time they'll write things to make it look interesting... and most of the time it's not true.

according to Sony Sony's Playstation 2 gaming console is one of the best and most technologically advanced machine yet.

when it works...

It does, it deals with every file type ever.
I just ment its not like Kazaa and such where you can only search for one type at a time.

Not every P2P has spyware, Kazaa has givin a p2ps a bad rep.

Do all Canadians have to be gay? No, Its just PR giving a bad example of one.

So how many users does it have? I mean, I only ask because I'm on Bearshare, and I can usually get what I'm after, so why should I shift?

Oh, and I've got 5.5GB of MP3s, so that's so not a problem! :p

Well apart from the fact that you can't stack them like you can MP3s, you can't record them to audio CD, they take up 10x the disk space (and don't come it with me, I've got 70GB free disk space), 10x the download time, and a whole chunk more processor time to play...

I've got an 80Gig harddrive and a 3ghz processor. So what if it takes more memory to run it, why would u be doing something else if u where watching the music video.

Also 10x the audio file? Whats the size of a music video 40-50mb? so....thats 1600 (20 music videos per gig) music video files i could possible have if they where all 50mb each. I dont think i would ever d/l that much stuff, even if they where 1 byte. It would be chaos trying to organize it and i would probably delete the old ones. memory isn't a problem.

Go for "cretin". I love that word.

And it's so much better than "gay", which is offensive to those people that are gay, and not to those that aren't (which kinda defeats the purpose of an ingroup/outgroup insult! :) )

Sure you do, if 3ghz processors existed.

troy, you're talking mince.

Chemical Brothers: HeyBoyHeyGirl.mpg = 38,322,180 bytes
Chemical Brothers: HeyBoyHeyGirl.mp3 = 4,634,888 bytes

Therefore the 192K MP3 file is 12% (or < 1/8th) the size of the video.

I'm speaking to you with 14 windows open, and one of them is WinAmp. Am I watching the video?

3GHz? Get a life!

Sorry, I was probably being a bit harsh...

2.2GHz is the fastest P4 processor I'm aware of, although it's probable that another 200MHz has come on recently (the first PC I personally owned was 200MHz!!).

The thing is that if I want a single track, I download the MP3. Plus I rip CD albums, and then make the collection into various CDs for long journeys - that's how I've got so many.
