Damnit I have decided that I am going to be as lazy as possible and I have looked at KidEng's site a bunch and I figured out the car that can run it with the highest HP is the V8 Vantage. It also weighs more than any other car in the game, so I want to know what car I should use that I can buy... no GTOne Road Car plz.

Ahhh...I was going to suggest the TVR Speed 12, that you pick up from the Tuscan Series.

Outright and hands down, the fastest "real" car available in GT3. Since you're that lazy, I'd suggest the Viper.

Do it in the Z06!!! I haven't tried it in that car though or really any for that matter. I've been kinda slow getting through the game now that I saved over my old game a while back . . . trying to get done with all the one make races first and I've finally got that done.

Won it in an Integra Type-R and a VX220/Speedster. So anything else really. :D

Well crap, now I have a decision to make . . . do I want to use the Z06 instead of the R390 Road Car when I do those races?

I beat this series with a Lancer Evolution VII. It wasn't too hard to beat the other cars...Well, in some races it was, but it was fun using it.

You'll crush them in either of those cars, but the Z06 is at least in the same league. I swept it in a Mustang Cobra R. It's been done in many cars; there's no need to resort to the obscure ones like the GT road cars, etc.

It's going to take a long time to run it anyway. Destroying the competition and simply racing the clock will save you maybe 20 minutes over the life of the whole series. That's a boring way to get to the end of the series! The fun is in the journey, not the destination.

Or something even less. The Z06 is about the upper limit of what I'd use. The stock Cobra R on T3s means a pit stop to keep it interesting, enough grip to be functional but not enough to make it easy. The Camaro is a little hard on front tires. You could do it in a Clio street car, I'm sure.

Think the Beetle RSI could make it? Man I dont know why I like that car, but its growing on me. Ill give it a try when I have some free time.

I ran the PD cup in a Tommy Kaira ZZs. Managed to win the series but not sweep it.

I attempted it in the Beetle RSi, but it doesn't have the necessary power to compete against the AI.

PLease try it as I'd love to see others results.

I say if you want a challenge go with lotus elise, dont worry if you get blown out in the first few laps just keep going you wont need to pit with that car the tire wear is awsome on that car makes the series much more fun. Although I hate that car its alot of fun in that series.

If you just want to kick some serious ass use one of these. Esprite V8, XJ220, Viper,Z06, Speed 6, Speed 12 ( I think they will allow that one),NSX, vantage, vanquish, RX7, Supra, all these cars will do some serious damage by lap 4 you should be pulling away.

Just finished Trial Mountain with my RSi :)
Results are as follows:

Best lap is 1'38.898

I lapped the Corvette.. stupid thing was pitting every 2 laps! I only pitted once on lap 10 or 11. My RSi was 0.0 mileage, did oil change, took off ASM and TCS, and voila. :D

I don't think anybody mentioned the RUF RGT. It can easily trash any competition in the PD Cup and was my car of choice for the series.

Everybody talks about beating the PD Cup with a really crappy car because they get T2's and only pit once per race.

It'd be interesting to see what cars you could still win with if you were using non-racing tires and pitting as much as the AI.

The absolute worst car I can think of that can win on "Normal" tyres is the Nismo 400R. "Simulation" tyres would be vaguely amusing, and I'm not sure of the degradation properties of Sports tyres.

I don't know why people seem to think that the AI are not on racing tires in this race. Having auditioned a lot of cars and tire combinations for it, including a lot of cars the AI runs, I can guarantee you that the AI are using racing tires, and in the ccase of the obligatory multi-pitter, pretty soft ones at that.

Read the title: It's the PD cup. You can't mod up the cars. Then again, you've got "drift" in your name, so it's likely you've never run it. ANd if you have, it was in a 400+ hp car.

Der alta, I know you have some superiority complex, but there is no reason for a intelligent person like yourself not to sense a hint of sarcasm, yeah drift is in my name. And I don't know if you're a strong reader or not, but if you would have read a previous post of mind I mentioned what cars I beat the Polyphony Digita Cup in. But I shouldn't really expect thought out remarks from you anymore should I?
