Best place to buy old/classic games? (PS1)

It's recently come to my attention that most larger stores have done away with their PS1 sections. Gamestop used to have a whole bin of 'em.. now, nothing. Even Best Buy used to have a small PS1 section as little as a year ago.

And now I'm trying like mad to hunt down a copy of Mortal Kombat Trilogy, and it just ain't happenin'. I found ONE copy in town yesterday, at one of those classic-game-trade stores (we have two in town). I take it home, and it doesn't work.. scratched to hell, even the data layer was damaged. Naturally, I got my money back, but now I'm pissed because the game seemingly doesn't exist in this part of the country.

Any reputable online sites that sell old games like this? Someplace I can be reasonably comfortable knowing that I'll get a playable version of the game, or that I can easily refund/swap it otherwise? For that reason, Ebay is out.. I know it's out there, but if I get a bad copy like I did yesterday, it's likely I'll be screwed.

I'm thinking of going to the Amazon marketplace, and sticking to the ones that swear up and down that the game is brand new, factory sealed, etc.

Any tips before I go a-huntin'?

i didn't trust ebay for ages but i've bought a few things on there now (including the original need for speed and manhunt) and have been very happy with them. not suggesting all the sellers are good, but in my opinion people who sell alot on there are too scared to rip people off because they know they'll get bad feedback and that will affect there future sales.
i only pay with paypal and i'm not sure, but... i think the seller doesn't get the money untill i leave positive feedback which i dont do unto i've got the game and played it. i could be wrong about that though so dont quote me :)

regardless of where you get it, goodluck, hope you find a good one.
