I recently bought a set of ECCI Trackstar 6000 pedals with clutch and PMB2 brake and 2 spare pots, compatible with G25/27 wheels. The plan was to sell my Fantec GT3RS wheel and ClubSport pedals and use the ECCI pedals with my G27 wheel.

The pedals are amazing even compared to the ClubSports and the build quality needs to be seen to be believed!!! However I didn't realise how much I love my GT3RS wheel!! I miss the chunky feel of the alacantra wheel, the fixed shifter pedals, the infinite adjustments and the good looks. A G27 is just not the same now I have had a GT3RS!

My new plan is to go back to the GT3RS and mate it to my G27 pedals with a Perfect Pedal modification.

However this leaves me with a redundant set of ECCI pedals. I don't want to sling them on ebay as I don't think people on there will be knowledgeable enough to know how good these pedals are. Taking into account shipping and customs charges they cost me £550 so I was wondering where you guys think the best place to advertise them would be to get somewhere close to £450 back on them would be? They are a really top piece of kit and very rare in Europe.

Could someone recommend some UK sim racing sites I can advertise on?

This is what these babies look like!! They weigh a ton and will last forever! Infinitely adjustable for height, pressure, angle etc...

Why not just use the ECCI pedals with the GT3RS? If they're designed to work with the G25/G27, they should work with the Fanatec adapter too.

That's odd... how can they be analog axles on a Logitech wheel and buttons on a Fanatec, doesn't make sense.

Have you tried contacting Fanatec about this? I think they should work if they are G25/27 compatible one way or the other.

Maybe if Thomas is lurking about some time tomorrow he maybe can shed some light on this. Selling these babies is just too much of a waste in my opinion.

Thanks LogiForce. I wish they would work with my GT3RS and I don't understand either but I am not particularly technical. I was able to use the accelerator and brake as forward and back to navigate through menu's on GT5 but it did not work when actually driving, just kind of a blip of acceleration and nothing on the brake. I love the pedals, but I think I love my GT3RS more...

That says alot for the gt3 over your logitech wheel!!!! If i was you, i would contact Thomas to see if in fact they can be compatible together before you go selling. Although those pedal are very much overkill for console racing. Consoles dont even use the full potential of a set of csp's.
I do not own a gaming pc, so thats not one of those statements. ;)

Yes Caz You are right the ECCI's are really for PC sim racers. It is really a case of me looking for realism over anything else and I now have a set of pedals that feel 'real' mated to a wheel that looks and feels like a toy!

And a wheel that feels 'real' sat doing nothing...

Wow, that's weird and to be honest kind of sucks. And your sure it's not the adapter? As in a set of Logitech pedals work fine?

But yeah, might want to PM Thomas on here, he might be able to give you a short answer/solution to this. His nick is "Fanatec...".

I agree with you Caz, the pedals might be overkill but when it feels good to drive I don't need the full potential... I just want my feet on my nice pedals. After all a good natural resistance no matter if the full resolution of the pedals is used or not makes a big difference in consistency.

I'd love to have such pedals as David myself no matter what game I play. Besides, would be nice with the CSW as well (if the stupid thing supports the G25/27 adapter which it doesn't according to the comparison chart) ;)

You really should not be getting rid of such an amazing piece of machinery. :(

I have a set. Just brake and gas, though.

After a month comparing the GT3RS and G27 pedals with Perfect Pedal mod against a G27 wheel with ECCI Trackstar 6000 pedals I have decided I like the G27 wheel and ECCI combo much better.

I feel the G27 wheel is more precise than the GT3RS and is quicker to react to steering input. The ECCI pedals have to be tried (and seen) to be believed! An awesome combination!

In short the ECCI's are all I hoped they would be, and the G27 is better than I first thought.
