Best racing wheel? T500rs / CSR-E / CSW ??

I just recently bought a Rseat V3 , and was wondering which racing wheel kit to buy. I've been using a G25 since gt5 prologue came out, but it feels .. not good enough (dead zone , loose , weak ffb, unprecise ). I was trying to learn to drift with this wheel on gt5 but no success( wasted 100 hour +),dunno if it's me or the wheel :)...

So I Decided to get a new expensive wheel
I was planning to get the CSR-Elite + the clubsport pedal V2
was wondering if I should wait for the CSW to get back in stock..
or mayby a T500 RS..? :crazy:
Mayby you guys could help me choose what's best for me :)

I mostly race on GT5. but got forza 4.

If you want to play GT5 (PS3) and forza (Xbox) your only pick is CSR-Elite due to compatibility. CSW is not xbox compatible and neither is the T500.
 
I wouldn't say "without doubt" and without trying to start a "which wheel is BEST" thread for the 13,000 time. I will say I own an CSR Elite wheel and a T500 wheel, I have owned a G27 wheel as well and going back to my sim start in 1979 I have owned all sorts of wheels.

ATM the only racing I do is iRacing and my wheel of choice is my T500. I have GT5 and a couple others from that series as well and all the Forza series. If you can try out a few wheels with the games you play and see which you like.

I'm definitely no expert, but I don't think the current CSW offerings are ideal if you want to drift. Wouldn't smaller diameter rim be easier?
 
I believe there's an earlier thread with exactly the same question.

If you really think about it and spend a bit of time reading through the relevant threads, the right choice (for you) is pretty obvious.
 
Hey guys . Thanks for the quick reply . I think i'll get the csr elite + cspv2 and.. was wondering what shifter to use .. i guess the th8r shifter wont work with that combo on gt5.

The Fanatec shifter will work on GT5. People are waiting for the Club Sport shifter which suppossedly is "in the works" but that doesn't keep the current shifter from working.
 
I do not know how the t500rs performs, but the Elite is a very good wheel (I previously used a G25).
 
I purchased my Elite wheel for the Forza series and for a little while I tried out the Elite. (I also own a GT3? I believe it is) and 2 sets of CSP's. I am going to sell the Elite wheel and maybe watch for DSD new pedals or perhaps get in line for a set of CST pedals.

No doubt Fanatecs new wheels are very nice, I just prefer the raw feeling in iRacing that my T500's offer.
