Best Rally Car in GT5?

I tried searching, but i couldn't find anything useful.

I was wondering which rally car was the "best" (non-escudo) in GT5, I gave the Delta rally car, the 03 Impreza rally car, and the premium C4 rally car a quick test out on Toscana and the Impreza came in first followed by the Delta and the C4.

However of course this is not many and the tests were not very extensive, so I am hoping that some of you guys have done some more thorough testing and could provide me with some help in picking out the best car.

The Delta S4 wins...

Not sure if it's the fastest or whatever, it just wins by default on account of it being so damn awesome ;)

If there are any other Group B rally cars on the game then they come a close 2nd, also by default :)
 
The Suzuki would win due its immense power because in gt the tracks are way too wide unlike a real rally course where it is narrow. So that's my reason for why this car would win. If the tracks were like real rally tracks then the citron or Subaru car would be best because they would be more suited for such a tight real rally course
 
Lancia Delta S4.

PD really should include the Audi Quattro S1. And the rest of the Group B monsters as well (I lust for the Lancia 037, personally - the one in my avatar). In petrolhead heaven, there still are Group B races.
 
I personally like the Celica GT-Four, although I am somewhat biased because my mom had one when I was a kid (obviously a consumer version, not rally car.)

It's gotten me golds in the intermediate and advanced rallying though, and seems to be an all around great car. With full tuning you can boost it up to 450ish hp.
 
All WRC cars from the past 5-ish years are exactly the same. The same weight, the same power, it is the FIA regulations for the sport. I have Loeb's C4 as it was the prize car in his challenge. It doesn't hurt that he has won every WRC Drivers' Championship since 2004.

I received the Mitsubishi Starion 4WD as a prize car and it is also very powerful.

I'm not very good at the Rally Races. I give credit to my Lancia Delta S4 for winning the advanced races for me. I was just there for the ride.

I'd also love to see more Group B cars. You mentioning it had me look up some things on them. I never knew the Porsche 959 was designed as a group B 1st and road car 2nd.
 
OK, so the Delta is the best if you are able to control it, thanks for the help.

I think i will also invest into my Impreza Rally car for when i want to use something a bit easier to control.
 
The C4 you get from Golding the Loeb challenges is pretty sweet. Managed to beat all the GT Rally events without any modifications at all.
