I need to buy a rally car for the expert rally event and I'm not sure which one is best? I've been leaning towards the Ford Focus WRC since that one is my favorite IRL, but if there are any better ones I would like to know.
Well, an older group B rally car would definitely be more powerful, but I don't think any of those are available as premium cars, so idk if that effects your preference. You can win Loebs car by doing his little rally special event thing.
I know I've answered this before.. You can win a VERY nice Lancia Rally car if you win the Gallardo race. You'll know it's a group B rally car because it be made around the mid 80's and have 100+ more horsepower over the newer rally cars. The series was outlawed in '86 so you wont find them after that.
I used the Lancia Delta group B car for the advanced rallying, as LordBeer suggests.
Not only does it have more horespower as standard it also weighs less than 1000kgs (something like 980kgs I think, roughly). The cars you'll be racing against are roughly 1250kgs, so you will have a very good power to weight advantage.
If you add a MID rpm turbo kit on it, it really hauls coming out of a corner, its a very good car.
If you are careful, and adjust settings accordingly for each stage / event, this car will easily get you gold
