best record update glitch?

I was just doing IA-1 slalom and got a score 17.661. Ok, I see couple of folks in my friends list have better time, so I want to improve. After few tries I get 17.538, but in the friends list it's still 661. Right after completing the tes best record says 538 but in main menu and in rankings it still says 661. I improved again, to 506 yet that 661 just won't update. Anyone knows what's up with that?
