Best route to go?

Hey everybody! After reading up on the "Read this first" thread, I still have a question, which I'm hoping this is the correct place for it. I started another game of gt3 and im up to the part where you can buy a pretty powerful car (got all gold in b tests) and after racing and selling cars I have 55, 227 Crs. with a silvia, ae86, and the b license prize car, mx-5 in my garage. Usually I go the route of getting an evo 7 and race for some nice cash in the rally circuit, but im wondering if there is a better alternative, since the rally way is the only way i know, or use to. Any suggestions/opinions are appreciated.

Again, sorry if this is in the wrong place.
 
Get an R34 GT-R and tune that, you can win rally's with it and it's auch better car on the road than an Evo.
 
I'd vote for picking up the Ford SVT Mustang. In mild trim, it'll do in most of Amateur without much problem. In heavy trim, you should be able to deal the AI pro a pretty good blow.

I'd vote for buying some T3 Slick/Hard tyres for that MX-5 and going for the Apricot Hill Endurance... 40 tight, fun-filled laps and the possibility of an F1 car (and a pot of gold) at the end.
 
I agree with live4speed. Get the skyline and tune it up...you can race in 4WD races and it also handles great in the dirt.
 
I agree with Famine on the next race to do and Der Alta has a good mind to recommend the Mustang. . . although I am more of a chevy person. As for the Skyline being a better road car then the Evo, I disagree. Maybe on the test course fully powered up. . . but I beat the pro's AWD and Turbo with an Evolution 7 with ease. . . plus the stock evolution in the Polyphony digital cup could net you a tom of cash if you are good with pit stop strategy. The Mustang will also win the Polyphony digital cup along with the Z28 and Camaro SS.
 
I never said the Evo wasn't a good car, the R34 GT-R is better though, it's better stock and tuned.

Stock for top speed is better, but I would say an evo can whip around the corners a little faster on GT3 imo. As for tuned I still stand by my post.
 
So far I'm liking to endurance race suggestion, but when I'm done with that I'm going to pick the R34 to be a rally car, thanks for the suggestions. I hate going through the licesnce tests lol

I like that idea. The Mustang was the first car I actually purchased, as I ran the early races with the b-license Miata. It can take on just about any Amatuer League competition and also a good number of Endurance races, if you decide to take that route. Good luck.
 
Go beat the Time Trials and get the Panoz GTR-1 or whatever. It pretty much makes purchasing a car at this stage irrelevant (:
 
Id say do up a rx7... shouldnt be too expensive :)
 
The Mustang isn't a bad car for rallying too. I'd go the way Famine suggested tho ^_^. Races are fun when all the cars are almost hte same
 
If you have the licenses, pick off all the enduro races you can. If you get good prize cars you can pick them all off. At the same time you can make very big cash, and then do whatever you want. With the credits you have you can very likely build the Silvia to take Seatlle, especially if you do it after you do Apricot Hill.
If you win the F1 At "the Hill" then you can take all the Enduros, with absolutely no challengers at all. Or you can sell the F1 to build up the bank and make all the enduros "interesting". Plus, if you take all the enduros, and perchance, don't win any F1's you'll get one of the F094's when you complete the last enduro.

That would do my head in, start the game, a few races later you have an F1 car and everything becomes a breeze, I prefer to do all the lower cups then move up bit by bit. Even not winning an F1 makes it all very easy with the money you get.

Consider doing the Roadster Cup anyway. Save the rest of the enduros for later in the game.
The 100,000 will indeed come in handy. Plus you only have a 1 in 4 chance of winning the F1.
If you have fears of sweeping the field with the F1, Sell it. You'll then garner another 250,000-287,000CR. And you'd be suprised how quickly 387,000 can be spent.

I like the Mustang as a "next car" but the Evo 6 or Evo 7 may be a better choice, as it's eligible for more races.
Plus, with the Evo on Dirt Tires you can take one of the Rally courses, and win a Rally Car to take the rest of the Rally courses.

Add that some of the Rally cars are actually usable on the road courses, but don't come with too much power...
You still have challenging races in the lower levels.

I ran thru my first GT3 game in an F1. Since then, I have tried to be a bit more of a "purist", running more appropriate cars in the races.
Now I'm not tempted to run the F1's. I have one card that has like 10 F1 cars on it. Three of which have any miles on them. One has quite a few miles on it, as I used it for the F1 Cup. But, I only bust them out for testing, and playing around now.
 
In my compendium run, I ran the Roadster enduro first and didn't win the F1. In fact, I was at 78.2% when I picked up my first F1 racer (Laguna Seca Enduro).

Gil's got the right idea. Pick cars that are enjoyable to race. Use the cash as needed to enjoy playing the game.
