best small car

I am looking to enter the "small car" races. They require cars smaller than 3400 (I think) and 4000 lenght. I would like to buy one car for both races, but don't have to. I have 200K to spend. They are for the beginner and advanced races (I think it's advanced, Im sorry i am not at home and don't quite remember). thanks for your help.
 
Two words, Suzuki Cappuccino. You'll sweep the floor with the opposition. For more info, search for Lightweight Car Cup and Compact Car Cup. 👍
 
"The autobachie" is probably the Autobianchi A112 Abarth you got from winning the Sunday Cup. You should have it already. About the Suzuki Cappuccino, did you ever happen to think that it might be made by Suzuki? And if you want to know where to get it, I'm not going to answer. Search the forums or read the stickies #1 and #2.
 
I say the Mini Cooper 1.3i is the best, it has awesome cornering, low ride height stock, and can beat a Kei car anyday, even with 3 less ponies.
 
If you insist on using one car for both the Lightweight K-Car Cup and the World Compact Car series (and also the Japanese Compact Cup) then go with a Cappuccino as Greycap suggests. For an alternative, throw some horsepower at the Abarth you won in the Sunday Cup and use that in the K-car series. Then buy a MX-5 Miata for the compact series. You'll need a Miata eventually anyway for one of the enduros as well as the Mazda NR-A Roadster Cup.

Btw as far as I know there isn't a Mini available in GT4 that can be used in the K-Car series.

Was the Autobachie only in the NTSC-J version too, as I don't seem to have that.
 
Mitsubishi i -concept could be rather interesting to use as well. fully modded it has almost 150bhp ( plus additional 100 from Nitrous), mid-engined layout and handles like a dream. oh, did I already mention that it's funny little drifter? :dopey:
 
ford rs200 not overkill...because this thread says "best small car" not best competitive small car.
 
Umm.. no, it understeers too much and is truthfully speaking an overkill.
 
I dont remember which one it was, either the Lightweight K-Cup or Compact Cup, I entered it with the Toyota 7, it's small enough HAHAHA
 
Audiobanchi. You will be able to tune it and it will have 140 HP. I won it in this car.

Both of which are ellegable to compete in light weight K cup series and the compact car race.

Another car to use if you want to be competitive is the Honda Beat.
Its probably as good, if not better then the Cappuccino.

Has anyone used the Mitsubishi CZ-3 Tarmac? I think that qualifies too.
 
I think the Elan is small enough.
Put in a gearbox and it will kick butt.
 
Isn't the Elise small enough?

Because if you get that, then you have a car for MR races, Lightweight cup, and the Elise Trophy...

Thats why I suggested the Tarmac too.

I just used it tonight. You don't get a lot of points for the race, but its a fun little car to drive.
 
CZ3 tarmac after tune can make 400 meters in 11 seconds. it is very fast. you can try in it.

You can't use the Cobras or the CZ-3 in the Kei Cup. They're legal, of course, for the compact race.

I'm guessing one or two people are wondering how you can pass an opinion on the performance a car in GT4 when you haven't driven it...

I watched it on a video, with someone driving it stock, it is almost as good as it was in GT3. I don't need to drive the car, but simply concentrating on the replay showed how much faster on track the Mini can be against a Kei car. 👍
