ok, i like rap. big deal...i am white, but i just like it so much more than all other music...many reasons, not gonna bother explaining why. but anyway, these are some of my favorites(not all), but i felt these would be really appropriate for the game. go ahead and list what you think, no matter what type of music you like.
 
Yeah, tool's good but I don't think it would suit a racing game.

You know what would be nice, if they kept the Japanese soundtrack, which is nice instrumental rock/jazz. I mean GT3's American soundtrack is pants, apart from a few tracks.
 
Maybe AC/DC's "Highway to Hell" or "Thunderstruck", or even any of their songs for that matter. Black Sabbath's War Pigs, Golden Earring's "Radar Love" and "Twilight Zone" might fit also. I'd like to see some of the older stuff go in the GT series.
 
Yes, techno would be a good choice for GT.

While I do like rap, IMO, it has no place in any racing game. It's just not a good genre to listen to when you're driving.
 
it gets me more hyped up and more awake. i wish i would've played it during my 4th PD cup last night being sick and all. :irked:

Same here. Snoop Dogg's "Gran Turismo Doggy Style" was the most annoying song in GT3. It bothered me so much I had to turn it off.
 
I hate crashing threads like this, but I'd rather that there was no music at all, save the tire and engine sounds. Besides, you'll never make everyone happy; Sony will likely choose Sony/Columbia-branded artists, anyhow.

Wasted time and space, not to mention, I listen to my own collection of music when I play games; it couldn't possibly fit on a DVD with a great game to spare.

Who else is up for NO MUSIC?

True. I listen to my own CDs too when I'm playing games, most of the games I turn off the sound when it gets a bit annoying ( including GT3's music )
