Maybe he is talking about hybridding, as in what exhaust sound from other cars in GT5 would be cool for that car. I don't know, just guessing. At any rate, the answer is a subjective one and is really up to you and your personal taste. If its hybridding you're talking about tho, I can tell you that I'm partial to the Ford NASCAR car exhaust sound.

Can't help but wish that they had more of that sweet boxer-rasp... Not sure if he's hybriding or not, but has anybody else noticed that all street cars sound more or less the same with the full-race exhaust?

Kinda the exact opposite

Take a C6 ZO6, Civic Hatch, and WRX Scoobie equip them all with Race Titanium and tell me they sound alike...

The exhaust in clip 3 is terrible, as are the exhausts in clips 1 and 2. Clip 4 is the only decent one.

I like Clip 1 low rpm, but clip 4 high rpm lol this car is not done justice, terrible exhaust note from all of them really when IRL the car is one of the best sounding.

Read post 11. He said the clip numbers, I used the general terms and talked about general cars in GT5.

And granted, I'm listening to that video on my PS3 now to hear it on the same stereo with great bass I use for GT5 and through the recording and resizing the pitch. which is a big part of the sound. is different than what it sounds to me in the game. It also got muffled through the audio resizing so the racing exhaust isn't as terribly sharp and 'biting' in the ear compared to how it sounds in-game to me.
