Best thing to do with damaged T500RS

I have a prototype T500RS here which I bought off ebay for £225 inc. postage. In transit the wheel sustained damage, but I overlooked this for 2 months until I tried to sell on to someone who picked up on the damage straight away.

Now, I'm sure it could be bent back, and it does work. It doesn't seem to want to update on the computer (although that could be to do with the Thrustmaster software) but it does pick up in Control Panel.

I know I won't get back what I paid but would anyone be interested in the wheel? i.e. does it hold any value at all?

I spoke to them on the phone and they say they only cover products under warranty. I don't even know how someone would get hold of a prototype
 
Whats the damage? And if not significant id make you an offer.

The wheel is more towards the base on one side and there's a crack to the plastic on the wheel. It rotates and turns on though. Aren't you in the USA?
