Best tires for endurance races?

I've always used soft since I'll be far enough ahead but on some races my rear left is at 2 while my fronts are still at 8 and the right rear is at 6
Would it be better to use medium or hard for rears? Or should I just make them all the same?

I don't mean to sound harsh or judgmental, but it may be less of a tire choice and being more careful with the tires. If you're using a FR/MR, softer front tires and harder rear tires will be helpful, but having such a disparity between RR and LR tires can usually suggest abuse of the rear tires.

For me, the time when racing soft tires start to lose grip roughly coincides with when I have to refuel. Unless for some reason you're destroying your tires quicker than normal (e.eg if you're getting a lot of wheelspin), just use soft tires.

I still have about 20% fuel when the rears are about to lose all grip... Using the '14 Stingray but going to buy an FXX when I get the cr

Well I use the stock racing hards when it comes to the race cars in the mini enduros. Basically its like the 2nd post said, be careful with your driving. I actually get supremely annoyed when I get pitted by the AI and my wheels shred trying to maintain traction, but usually, if I'm using a light car like the Rocket or Furai which doesn't need refueling, the Racing Hards are at about 6 or 5 at the end of the race.

Did all events where there was precipitation (as per indicator or visually) on RS.
I found Intermediates, and RRs to be worthless as they are now modeled.
Hopefully that will change in future updates.
Used RMs for non-rain events.

Depends on weather and more importantly the car. The furi and rocket are very good on RS tires but the wear is different depending on track conditions. When the track is wet there is next to no wear. When the track is completley dry there is a lot more wear. I've won all the S races without rain or intermittled tire as they are horrible on dry tracks and almost always are the cause for losing. In the career mode all races with rain and wet tracks can be done on slicks it just takes a little more caution, but there is no need for rain or intermitted tires in career mode.

Get ready the FXX takes a lot of practice. It wears tires fast and can be quite tough to handle especially with performance mods. I found it to be the worst of the supercars when it came to the willow springs and Ascari endurance races. I like the Aston One the best out of all the new supercars its crazy quick, but can be a little tough to handle but not as bad as the FXX I think.
