Best way to earn money?

Pretty self explanatory, what is the best way to earn money on GT5? In GT4 I would keep doing that race to get that Mercedes worth 730k or so, however I tried redoing one of the sets of races to get the prize car again, and it wouldn't give it to me.
So is it even possible to get a prize car again?
 
Nope, no more cars for re-doing any event.
And the best way would be American Championship on oval.

Wow, I guess I shouldn't have sold all of those prize cars =-/ Thanks for the track advice anyways.
I keep spending all my money on drift cars, and am in desperate need of some funds.
 
do the seasonal events(bonus races), some give you 1 000 000 credits for
1st place. Or one of these(depends on lvl): supercar festival on Daytona, turbo event on high speed ring, European championship on rome circuit:)
