My boyfriend and I are going to be spending some serious time playing GT5 together after xmas. What I'm trying to figure out is the best way for the both of us to play at the same time.
What I'm wondering is do they have a setting in the game where we could play GT mode with 2 different profiles? By that I mean set him up a playstation account and start him on the GT career mode as well. Then I have my playstation account and career mode started. I don't see any reason why 2 people couldn't simultaneously work through career mode. You could both earn experience points and money at the same time. That way we aren't stuck only playing arcade mode against each other.
If the above isn't an option, I plan on just having the 2 of us alternate as to who controls the driver while playing through my profile in career mode. I have 2 Logitech Driving Force GT steering wheels. It would be nice to have both set up and connected and find an easy way to switch back and forth without having to reposition ourselves on the couch using only 1 steering wheel. Any tips? I have tried to use the playstation button to switch between which wheel is controller 2 and couldn't get the change to work.
