I'm determined to get a decent thread going.

I'd like people to nominate their favourite and most hated corners in GT3.

For favourites it can be one you always get right, or you just get a thrill from taking it.

For worst it can be one you always stuff up, or just plain hate because you think it's stupid

I'll start:

Best:
The almost flat out left hander onto the pit straight at Deep Forest. I love that corner, you need to get a bit of the curb and just have faith you've got the line right. Downhill entry, fast cornering, wall at exit - fantastic

Worst:
The corkscrew at Laguna Seca. I know this will be controversial, but Eddie Cheever was right, there's no point to this corner, no reward, just downside. You can't make much time up here, just lose it - and stacks. Cambers are all wrong, and it's too easy to straightline (just ask Alex Zanardi).

Here come da flame...

We already had this topic,
I cant find it in the archives, but I think the consesnus was that the worst corners are the blind turns at the top of the hill in seattle II, the seattle II chicane, monaco turn 5 (before hairpins) the last turn of laguna seca, and something else, I think it was turn 6 on trial mountain for some reason.

I don't like the first turn at Seca. I can never get it right.

I miss the chicane of Special stage r11 or whatever. new design is dull.

Man the ez way out. is just to hit the corners at full speed and ride the wall. But thats only the ez way out.

My favourite corner and my worst corner are the same; the infamous Corkscrew at Laguna Seca. It's awesome to watch that one time in a hundred when you get it right, but the other 99 times it is a nightmare. You either hit the brakes too early and halt on the entrance to turn 1, lock up and go straight into the barrier, or the exit from turn 1 deweights your backend and you slide all over the place in turn 2.

Other than that, I absolutely hate the final turn on the very same course.

I love the chicane on Apricot Hill just before the pit straight especially when you are just behind the leader and you can ram them off

And worst corner... Last corner on Laguna Seca in an F1 car

My favorite is the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca. I used to hate that track more than any other, but now that I get it right, I'm a happy guy. I'll have to give a little more thought to which corner I hate though. It's a tough choice.

Best: Loews Hairbin at Monaco

Worst: Chicane at Seattle II!!!
