Whats the best X1 prototype tune

It's a good tune already.

Yeah but mine keeps maxing out at 245-254mph and I tried to change the gears but nothing I've done has helped

Have you done an engine overhaul? Because my X2010 maxes out at 460KM/H (about 285MP/H)

Ok, I have to ask...what track and racing are you tuning for? And have you put about 280 miles on it and done an oil change? That will put the x at 1557 hp. I rarely set up for top speed, but pretty sure I've hit 300mph.

460kph = 285mph
310mph = 498kph

I know the X1, without tuning, can hit 501kph (311mph) drafting another X1.
Tested this with a friend back in Feb.

Yeah I've done that before as well.

However, my usual racing set up maxes at 268mph.

...Have you tried changing the top speed of your X2010? The option is the same place where you change your gear ratios, at the bottom of that little menu.

This should be in the Tuning Forums Section, just to let you know.

if grip is a priority, then leave suspension and tranny alone, and fully max downforce. using racing soft tires you can lap high speed ring at no less than 210 mph tops at around 250 mph(won't pull 6th gear)

if top speed is important (for ovals) racing soft tires, 50 front downforce, 58 rear downforce. it'll run 297 down front straight at indy. mine has about 1700 miles on it without overhaul or fixing the chassis

I hit 311 mph in my S.Vettel on the Indy 500 drafting. The prototype just seems kinda weird when I won it and then switched to it it seems like it's handling is different and it wants to slide more so I tried to match all the gear rations of the X2010 S.Vettel because I liked that. It's my grinder with almost 10k miles on it and the proto will get into the 280's in default settings and keep accelerating quickly and the S.Vettel hits around 280 then it shift to 7th gear and it doesn't do much

I'l post the set up later today. I don't usually run that track but have something that will help hit 300 without drafting...and still keep you from sliding off at every corner.

Lower the downforce, with both down to 50/50 (lowest) you can hit 311mph, with 100/150 that i used for the nurb. 24hrs it would only do 255mph on the back straight. Just need a good enough straight and a decent draft/ hill to get 300+
