Better Cars - What You Think About It?

Hy guys!
I'm Cristian from North of Italy, i live in a city near Torino, 50minutes from Milano, i'm sorry for my broken english!
Anyway i would make a classification, but not just a cold classification of the cars on Gt4, i would that everybody speak about the cars usually use for play:

For Example:

1 Audi R8 : i think is the faster car on the game, not because is the powerful but for chassis quality, is a binding car with very fast reaction but lap time is so great!
2 BMW LM V12 the same discussion for R8, just a little beat more binding!

NISSAN 350 Z road expecially version, is very is to drive, chassis have a perfect balance and is so smooth in the reaction and perfect traction, a car for every driver whit and without experience who wanna are competitive in the category.

BMW M3 in all road version, (my favourite is the CSL) is powerful than 350Z but is less easy to drive, the sound of engine is amazing and have good curves inserction (in this the 350 seems better) and good traction.

BMW M5 oh my GOD! a big heavy family car with monstre engine!Low aerodinamic efficency, not bad in low-medium low curves, but very very bending car near to the limit. Anyway very fun car for the drif guide come out!

FORD MUSTANG '05 OH MY GOD!My FAVOURITE car, is amazing, not to easy to drive, but not so bendig, amazing brakes, nice handling. i LOVE engine sound, AMERICAN horse power!

Bye guys, i wait your consideration!

Hey dude, good work on your English! It's a darn sight better than my Italian, that's for sure! My girlfriend was an au pair in Torino just last year. She loved it and said of course that Northern Italy is very beautiful.

I love the Ford Mustang '05 too. It was one of the first cars I bought, and it was a blast driving it up the Costa Di Amalfi (Special Conditions Race #2). Of course I bought it in red, and tuned it up fully, then it really sailed down the road. The car is an award-winner in real life too. It was voted Car of the Year here in North America.

I haven't done the races to get the BMW LM Speed 12 yet, but I did buy the R8 and have to say I was not that impressed. The Toyota Minolta is a far superior car, in my opinion.

Here are some of my favourite cars in the game:

Lotus Europa
Chrysler Crossfire
Amuse Carbon R
Amuse Honda S2000
Peugeot 206 Rally Car
Ford Mustang '05
DMC DeLorean
Corvette Z06

I'm not too sure what he said, its a discussion on your favorites and why?!
Got a couple I can think of I guess.

1. Peugot 206 Rally - Easy to steer, even on dirt, lots of accelleration, and I love the look and shape of it. Reminds me of some kinda mean looking mouse or cat.

2. Bathurst RX7 - Beautiful shape, very responsive, and handles like a dream. This car was my first drift car for GT4, and is still one of my favorites.

3. BMW GTR Race car - Handles like its on rails, looks the meanest out of all the BMW's, and has never let me down in a race.

Just my top 3 from 3 different categories of racing. 👍

The cars I prefer are the LMP and group c cars, especially on the Nurburgring, they provide such a great feeling !
My favourites among them are the R8 and the V12LMR.
I also like the brutality of both group c Nissans, the R89 and R92. Special mention for the sauber too.

One of my favourites is also the M3 GTR. Like SRV2LOW4ME said, it's on rails, it's powerful, it's just a dream to drive this one.

My best rally car is the lancer super rallye car, it handles really well and helped me to win the hard rallye races.

SRV2LOW4ME
..... Reminds me of some kinda mean looking mouse or cat......👍
I also like the three cars that you listed, especially the BMW M3 GTR, but the phrase of yours that I quoted reminded of what I think of the Toyota RSC Rally Raid Car. I think that it looks like an angry fish when it is peeking at you from your garage.

1. Nissan Motul Pitwork Z (JGTC) ('04)
Great handling, good acceleration, just plain fun to drive.

2. Polyphony Formula Gran Turismo ('04)
Same as the above, with even better characteristics, but the lack of a challenge against it by any other car makes it a bit less fun to drive.

3. Honda Civic Type R (EP) ('04)
Not the fastest or prettiest car out there, but it's a lot of fun to drive around in.

4. Gillet Vertigo Race Car ('04)
Far from the fastest race car out there, but it's great for street courses like Seattle.

5. Toyota Prius G Touring Selection ('03)
Slow as hell, but with great turning. I love it.

Ah, I LOVE Italy! We went for our first anniversary, and had to go back! Milano, Venezia, Firenze, e Roma!! No avere paese piu bella! is that right?? I'm not too great either-- I got by on my Spanish when we were there.

Anyway, sorry about that--but you have to expect it when you brag you're from Italy!!

So, my favorite drivers are the M3 CSL and the Z06 and C5R. I hated the Group C cars when I first drove them, but I guess they just take a little getting used to. Feels a lot more like Ace Combat than Gran Turismo sometimes!! I enjoy all my Astons, but mostly because they are Astons--I know they're not the best for much of anything! Yep--I'm a FR guy!

Bathurst RX7 - Beautiful shape, very responsive, and handles like a dream. This car was my first drift car for GT4, and is still one of my favorites.

Totally agree. Great car. Probably my favorite in the game for none race cars.

Others..... 787B.... Miata..... Elise....

Okay, my favorite (this week at least) has got to be the Cadillac CIEN. I don't know what it is about that, but I can just drive that thing perfect. If I could have a love affair with a car, that would be it (or a Kompressor). Wait, you know I can have a love affair with a car. See you guys later. I'm going out to find me a CIEN.

Right now i'm just loving what would be classed in GT3 arcade mode, as B-A spec cars, fun street cars with some power, slughtly tuned racing at about 150mph max on some BIG straights, other than that nice medium speed races with lots of available cars is great fun! Loving taking the Evo VIII through the Japanese 5 race tournament and LOVING the VW Golf R32 @ the nurnburgring! :D

also really like the 300sl and the old jag. man i could just keep going haha. obviously i'm just an old fartcar guy. :(

Favorite cars:
1.787B-fanstastic car, sounds amazing, and I find it to be fairly easy to set up.

2.M3 CSL-handles perfectly, this car was made for nurburgring, great car to drive.

3.Bathurst RX-7-surprisingly fast. It's close to keeping up with LMP and group C cars when fully tuned. I own all 3 colours. :)

4.Z06-Looks great, good power and handling, can keep up with high priced supercars with ease.

5.R390 road car-handles great even when fully tuned. This car will dominate LMP's and group C cars when fully tuned. It's a million bucks well spent.

Speed 8
ZZII
R92CP
RUF RGT
Plymoth Superbird

Italy's an awesome country. I went there last summer aswell as Austria and Switzerland. Too bad it was only for 2 weeks, the food there is amazing. You see alot more nice cars there then you do here in Canada. The Serie A is my favorite soccer league too, go AC Milan! 👍

whats up dudes, ive never been to Italy but im half Italian. anyway my favorite cars are: BMwCsl, TVR Griffitth, Mercedes SL55 AMG, Ruf Yellowbird, and last but not least the great 54 vette"love this car."

I'm not Italian, but my favorite Italian course is in the game- Costa di Amalfi. The track has a bit of a Project Gotham Racing feel to it. You know, exotic location, nice cars, and oh yeah- racing. If I was travelling, I'd want to be Amalfi for myself. It's quite a lovely place.

So what are some of my favorite cars? Read on, boys and girls.

(1) Blitz ER41 D1GP (correct name?) - This Skyline is one of the most fun to drive machines in the game. You can buy it for about 200K Cr. Soon as you get it, turn off ASM (oversteer and understeer), tone down the TCS but don't turn it off. Take it to a tarmac race course, and you'll have an easy to drive drift car. It's about the only drift car that's very fun. And true to tuner culture, the Blitz drifting Skyline features blue lighting both in the grill and on the sides. If you like this sort of thing, you'll love this car a bit more.

(2) 2004 Pescarolo C60 - The car doesn't have the power, but with proper suspension tuning, it plays the ultimate underdog in bigtime LMP/GTP racing. If you want to be competitive horsepower-wise, get a Stage 3 turbo. If you REALLY want to push, go for a Stage 4 for the high-speed courses like Test Course and Super Speedway. If you're real good, try it for Le Mans.

I have more favorites, but I'll discuss this later.

Italy, what a beautiful country. I visited for a two weeks when I was sixteen. I stayed in Firenze (Florence) for three days than in Rome for the rest of the time. Met a student of ancient Roman art and architecture who got me in to see actual digs still going on at Palatine hill in Rome, amazing! My wife has never been, so we will be going next year for vacation. We are going to northern Italy, I simply must see Venice before it sinks into the sea!

As for my favorite cars, I like the Subarus because my wife's father is a plant manager for the Subaru factory in Indiana, and I drive a Subaru Imprezza Sport wagon but wish I had the money for the WRX. I transfered money from my GT3 save and bought that to start the game with, used it exclusively for all the beginning races it could enter, and for the easy special condition races.

I love the Cerbera Speed 12, wow! what a great looking car, and it is really more of a race car than a supercar. Is that thing really street-legal in Britain? If so, the Brits must be insane.

Also the Chapparell 2J, the Vacuum Cleaner Car, It may look like it was built out of old kitchen appliances, but what a neat concept. For those who don't know, it actually has a seperate snowmobile engine in it that sucks air out from underneath the body and a lexan skirt that creates a vacuum under the car, literally sucking it into the ground for great traction even in low speed corners, and PD seems to have recreated the effect in the game.

I like the McLaran because of it's pop-up rear spoiler which looks really cool during replays. It really isn't the best of the 'supercars' but it looks nice and it is fun to drive if you put some decent tires on it.

Call me old fashioned but I love the old muscle cars too. I used a Dodge Charger to win the Muscle Car Championship, and for fun raced it in many other events. Hard to control, but fun to drive once you figure out how (brake early and in a straight line only.) I really love the old Corvettes, am I the only one who thinks the new ones look BORING? The only one I don't like is the Plymouth Super Bird because that spoiler looks so funny.

Hmmm, there are too many good cars in this game to mention them all! The Tommy Kaira ZZII is great. The Shelby Series 1 Supercharged rocks. The Spyker Laviolletta looks really cool. I won't go into the class C cars like the Minolta, frankly they are too much car for me. I barely won the Grand Turismo World Championship, and still have only managed to get 4th place on Hong Kong even going back to that race several times. Need more practice, and a steering wheel (my wife just spent $200 on new clothes, so now I have an excuse, haha!)

I like the Mustang GT as well (2005). It sounds like a Model T on steroids ;)
