Beware of Local SOCAL shop GT PRO...

I didn't read the thread yet, but if you're talking about the 3000GT tuner GT PRO aka GT Alley then that place is indeed a RIP-OFF!

There are numerous people who have been scammed by this place and have information/receipts posted all over the internet.

Since it's on Club4AG I'm guessing it isn't the 3k tuner, but this is a heads up for the 3k/stealth guys.

YES! It is the shop known mostly for tuning 3000GT/Stealth's. They also carry parts for other cars, but yes it is the GT PRO that you are talking about, very interesting to see others have had problems with them in the past.

First off, I really do not appreciate being slandered by you. This is sounds like another "I heard this or I heard that", please direct us ALL to whomever GT PRO ripped off, I'm sure we all would like to see for ourselves. Show us at least ONE site or ONE person whom we can verify his identity.

On the original topic, NO ONE was threatend, a solution was offered to "help", the customer did not want our help. The customer ordered 2 items, got both items he asked for not "like kind" or imitations, but exactly what he ordered, how is this a rip off?? can someone explain?? The customer was unwilling to drill a hole in his brakcet to forgoe not buying a slider which you need to mount the seat, this is not our design, it's Sparcos design.. How did we rip him off?? please someone explain it to me. Customer did not pay for a slider, we do not offer sliders for free either.
 
You owning/working/participating in "shady" business ventures is what has given you a "slandered" name, not me. If given time, I will round up a few people that have been deceived/ripped-off by whatever company name you now go by.

If and when the truth comes out, I hope you/them catch everything bad that is coming your/their way. Get ready.

I read the thread. Forget about the seats. Forget about the customer service. What is proven is the shop has a rather immature staff, including the President himself. Two reasons apply:

1) You will never, NEVER discuss business issues, good or bad, over a message board. Any offline staff who posts there is an automatic business failure - guaranteed, whether you're doing it professionally or not. Not only it gives a bad impression for expressing that you're not doing your job while you're working (by surfing around the net), it also mistakenly expressing the staff's attitude even if they don't mean to. Like someone said in the 4AG board, some people can have dyslexia, but they can rap. The president can be a nice, smart guy in person, but what (and how) he wrote on the board is disgusting.

2) They have little experience on how to handle a bad situation. They keep using the seat/bracket issue and blame on whoever that is out of the business. You also do not use your prior experience to defend the matter. "Oh I've installed speakers for 25 years" is the same as "I have to be gay for 25 years being with you in order to 100% trust you?" Apologizing is effective but not always the best choice. However, when that Terry guy sarcastically 'apologized' to the customer, all is lost.

I don't even have to live in SD to tell you that this is impossible without a third party. You can lie and pretend not knowing the person; the customer can photoshop and put in false info.

Since this dispute really has no place on this board, and should be settled elsewhere - preferably directly between the parties involved - I'm going to close this.
