Today is my last day as a student employee at Illinois Central College. At 4:30, CST, I leave behind three years at ICC for good.

Hoo boy, heavy stuff. I don't even have a new job lined up yet. I do have my last two years of College ready, though. Next wednesday, I start at Bradley University. and I had to take out student loans for that one. eesh.

It's scary, yes, I said it, that "three-year-old" word, scary, starting out all over again. I'm where I was three years ago: new school, no job. I've held two jobs over the past couple years, (one a dead-end job as a dishwasher: glad I got away from there,) And I hope my next one will be enjoyable as well. The commute's longer, and on busier streets and through tougher neighborhoods. Tuition's increased approximately twentyfold. Furthermore, I won' t be talking to you guys as much over the next week or so, as I sort out my schedule and when I can talk.

I hate changes. I hate uncertianty. I hate being given the oppurtunity to make mistakes. but, it happens.

Meh, stuff happens. I've been in school for the past week, but I always make time to come on the GTP.

BTW: When did I have a university under my name?

You've got to look forward to a new school; besides, at least 20% of everyone there is also new and unfamiliar to it.

Take care of business, and as usual, Jordan leaves the light on for later.

Good luck I guess

Monday is my first day of classes at UIC, which will be a pretty big change considering high school was in walking distance.

Good luck to you.👍

Right now all I have to worry about is 8 hours of marching band camp every weekday, cutting my summer short by about a month. (I don't like being a Freshman):grumpy:

:-)
