Just wonderin, does anybody else do the Type R series in Begginer league to win big money easy???

For racing that series you get an Acura RSX, that you can sell for 75'000 credits, 25'000 credits for coming first in all races and 10'000 credits for winning the Series!

Now thats 110'000 credits all up and all you gotta do is race 5 races at 2 laps each!!!

Easy as!! and it's in begginer too!! :D :D :D
 
I believe Famine suggested that a while ago...

I think the series where you win the Vertigo is a better money maker though...1,000,000 an hour...:D
 
yeah but for the new people who only have their B Grade licence, the Type R race is hard to beat!!!! ;)
 
Well the European thingo is for touring cars...so once you get an Astra or Calibra Touring Car, you can head down there and take that 1,000,000 an hour...:D
 
Or the Amateur Race of Red Emblem......3 laps with 30,000cr.

Actually, the Amateur Type R is only a real money winner for the PAL users. NTSC folks get a garden variety RSX, not the show car version. It's only worth 7500 cr to us.
 
Neon_duke: that could be because we didnt even get the RSX (integra in Ozz) when the game was released, so it was a real "WOW" car to us, I'd never even heard of one at the time.

It does annoy me that you cant put a Turbo on it though, can you do that with the U.S.A. version of the game??? :confused:

Super Speedway Enduro.. Get yourself an Ascudo and wheelie settings i guess and the rubber band trick u shiould pocket atround 500,000 and a chance for an fo9o/s

Ah but in the Type R cup you ALWAYS get the crappy RSX worth 75k, but in the European one you have to do the save/reload thing until you get the goods. (vertigo)

This means it could take you more than an hour to coin in a mill.

Sorry to be so pedantic, but the wife's on the blob and she's driving me crackers! I think my hormones have come out in sympathy!

I know that's a little bit too much info but I do tell it like it is...
 
Yeh, but I am taking into account about five minutes worth of save and reload...;) It's only 5 races which you only do 4, only 3 laps each...with the F1. :)

actually i thought the amatuer FR series was better value for money
3 races @ 5 laps each = 15000 cr
plus you get a crappy trueno at the end that u can sell for 125000 cr
145,000 in total
 
Yes but that's a one off series, you can do the others as many times as you want...

I think the Race of Red Emblem in Amatuer League is the highest paying short race in the game. You get $30, 000 for just doing three laps! It's not too hard to beat, either.

im hoping you can get that car from another memory card, its the only one in the game. (the trueno with the black hood)
 
The Amature race where you get the Camaro Race car is the best way to make money.... it sells for 250,000 crt and you can get it over and over again!!!

However, I did have a hard time beating that Yellow Corvette Racecar....... I got easier after I saved one Camaro Race Car...
I did the championship three or four times and I really didn't have problems running out of credits...
 
No, the Amature race where you get the Vertigo is better, same numberr of races laps and prize cr as the American series but you win the Vertigo which you can sell for more.
