big formula gt problem, just me?

so i got the game on release day and have been playing preeety much non stop since. i have noticed many many problems with the game but have continued on because its still great fun to play but this just seems stupid to me...

i just got to level 23, the next race i can do is the formula gt race, a TWENTY THREE LEVEL RACE, but the car i need to use for it is a TWENTY FOUR LEVEL CAR. its in the used dealership now, and no matter how much money i have, i cant buy it till i level up to 24. im just gonna have to repeat the american races over and over to get to level 24 and then return to the level 23 race.

did this not happen to anyone else? or is there another way to win the FGT?

I began looking at level 23 and never saw the car until almost level 27, at which time I could and did buy it.
Your situation is more upsetting.
That PD is a cruel Taskmaster.
As to your last question, no there isn't.
 
guess im just gonna have to do 20,000 laps of the american race to level up then... at which point the fgt will no longer be in the dealership.
 
I saw it at level 23 also and did not have the money nor the level to buy it. I saw it again at level 24 or 25 and picked it up.
 
I think the reason its Level 23 even though you cant buy it until level 24 is because of B spec. I bought the formula GT when I was level 24 in A-spec, now I'm level 23 in B-spec and I can do the formula GT B-spec race right away.
 
I'm currently in the same situation as you are. I've been doing the American Race at the Speedway and that race nets me 4440 xp and 98,000cr per race. Instead of being frustrated about the level 23 race but only being able to purchase the car for the race at level 24, I've taken this opportunity to purchase a lot of cars I've wanted (after saving up enough money to purchase and fully rebuild a FGT [5.8 million cr]). I have about 7 million cr right now and I'm half-way to level 24.
 
You can also buy it if you are Level 24 B-Spec no matter what your A-Spec level. B-Spec is easier to level at the higher levels as well as the races are longer and pay pretty good XP.
My B-Spec level has overtaken my A-Spec level at this point.
 
i had this problem but grind away and you will get it like i have recently.. i'll give you a tip to leveling up.. the american series race gives you close to what 3.5-4k ish i think? do the dream car championship if you are levelled up and do the daytona. its 10 laps but it works out quicker AND you get 10k xp per race :)
 
Same here. And a winner I guess...

I was at level 23, saw that FGT race was open. I was happy, had 5mio Cr just for FGT, and lucky me ... it was aivalable in Used Car Dealership. Imagine my surprise when they informed me, that I had to be lvl 24 to buy it... And before I reached lvl 24, offcourse, the FGT was gone from UCD ... stinky rip off ... :)
