How 'bout Polyphony working hard on BIGGER courses, instead of forcing us to go around a small course 200 times?:grumpy: 👍

I mean, I do enjoy and UNDERSTAND that racing is all 'bout survival(going around 200 times around a course)but wouldn't it be better for them to keep their small course, but add a heck-load of BIG courses like Nburgring/Red Rock Valley/Grand Valley Speedway. Even if they don't exist in real life, they can make those for the ORIGINAL category, I think it'd kick ass(SPECIALLY for rally:tup: ).

Any thoughts? questions? ideas?

Then searchWe have 90,000 members, 2,000,000+ posts, thousands of threads, AND a search function, that seems to work for me.

Here, I found this thread. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=83603

Excuse me, are you a mod? last time I checked, your weren't.

So please, respect my thread and leave it be.

No, I don't want to post ideas in a thread where people won't even really look or care 'bout your idea. I want a thread where an idea is presented well.

I'm not, I never said I was. But i'm pointing out somthing. And don't be a ass to me, i'm trying to tell you how it works here.

Um, yeah it would be looked at in full respect. It's were your saposed to post it, we don't want to have a cluttered up forum.

However destructive of the English language Master Yoda may be, he's absolutely right.

Scarecrow~, this thread is quite redundant. Master Yoda even went one step further and found you a similar thread where you can even post, instead of creating a new one.

No sense in creating similar threads all around. If you want to create a thread where an idea is "represented well", I suggest you create a thread with an original idea, not one that goes over the same subject others have previously.

Damn adults.

It wasn't much of a step, just looking to the bottom of the page

Technically, the the town is, not the course. I think I learned it from daan or Scaff that the track is actually the Nordschliefe.

The town's name is Nurburg, although the track also is around Adenauer... the ring (course) is called Nürburg-ring Nordschliefe

Forcing us around 200 laps around a small course... when you can have much longer courses? I 99.99% decline this suggestion you're making. I have some big reasons why.

My biggest reason why is simple- slower cars on big tracks. Who wants to race (and I'm not making fun of the car) Daihatsu Moves or Suzuki Alto Works around Nürburgring Nordschleife? The races would take extremely long and would need to make time to actually complete each race since you want extremely long courses. I hate extremely long courses. Le Mans is just fine for me because I actually know the track very well and do so well with it. You want a challenging long course in a game that isn't GT4? Try Löwenseering in Enthusia. All 4 miles of it can be great bliss. Be warned that it can be quite a challenge. I don't understand some people. Why do you want insanely long courses anyways? I can understand and appreciate Nürburgring Nordschleife. Do you want to see 50 tracks around 8 to 15 miles? Only exception for long courses would be long point-to-point rallies. But I don't think people are going to like extremely long tracks all the time. Longer tracks mean that you will have to compose your concentration and master every section of the track for the specifed distance. I hate extremely long courses because you can screw up in one part of the track and ruin everything. Which is why I hated the two Nürburgring Nordschleife one-lap tests in GT4's License Tests. And probably why I dislike just about ANY race there. A time that I HAD to race the course to win a championship was the GT All-Stars. All I had to do was make sure the other Nissan R92CP didn't overtake me. I had one of my best-ever moments when I won the race going down the long backstretch. I never thought I would win the BMW McLaren F1 GTR after a hard-fought finish. I won the race, so I pretty much don't have to go there again to try to win it.

Then too, not many racing gamers can stomach long courses all the time. Not many people want to do very long deathmatch sessions in certain games. So are we wimps for not doing long, extremely challenging courses all the time? No. It just means that we love a challenge, only not with really long and frustratingly tough race tracks. Also, think about the cars racing these courses and if the game will be any fun with these specific cars.

I completely decline this notion with stomp-my-foot-down authority. And please... don't go making fun of or verbally attacking people. It's against the rules here on GTPlanet to go ballistic on someone. Better check your rear view mirrors if you see some Moderators ready to give you a talkin' to.

Any comments anyone wants to make on which tracks, or type of track, that are going to be in GT5 can do so at the link Yoda or Jim posted (Its the same thread.)

Thanks
