In my efforts to learn about college basketball, I seen the game between Maryland and Duke on ESPN last night. I also seen the game where Kansas went to Villanova this past Saturday on ESPN. In the Kansas/Villanova game, Kansas completely broke down in the second half. I mean, it's like when you're Florida State and you get beaten down by UNLV (in football). The Maryland/Duke was a bit of last minute surges as I kind of kind of hoping for an upset. And in so, it was. The Blue Devils sang the blues as the Terrapins beat the Blue Devils. Of course, I still cannot wait to get my first Duke/UNC clash. But this loss in conference has to hurt Duke pretty damn bad.
Kansas was #2 in the nation when they lost to Villanova by at least 30, and Duke was #2 when they lost to Maryland by 9. So tell me. Which upset was bigger?
