Biggest wow moments

First rainy race. The lighting just felt so real, and all the volumetric particles felt amazing, I could barely see just a few meters in front of me

Driving in the wet, driving a rear-drive car and the weight transfer. Feels very different from before and much closer to real life.
The rain definitely gets another vote from me.

First wet track for me was my second race in the 930 Turbo and I think I was pretty much sideways, but in control, the whole race with almost zero vision.

I completely forgot about racing and just drifted that thing all I could. Easily one of the best gaming moments of my life.

First wow: Discovering the existence of the ST205 GT-Four Celica, when I saw it in the intro. Was really hoping there would be a GT-Four Celica of somesort at launch, so this made me very happy.

Second wow: The detail of the feedback/resistance through the L2/R2 triggers. It's made driving with a controller significantly more easy IMO, and it feels great.

Third wow: The weather effects.

Such a great quality game, I've enjoyed every minute of it so far.

Wow this morning was first drive on Tokyo Expressway and the difference in quality from Sport is huge, going from low light to night as well everything just looks stunning.

My big wow moments so far:

- Intro, as ever, sublime and wonderful.

- Track intros, as someone else has mentioned, I wish every track had this, gives so much more life to the circuits before you even get on them.

- Customisation,I honestly was not expecting the depth that is offered, especially when I think back to GT6 and how limited it was. Could GT7 be offering more than Forza Motorsport here? I'm yet to find a car that doesn't have some kind of widebody or visual body mods, the touches like headlights, bonnet pins, rollcages, cars having different grills etc, its so deep and you can really personalise your rides. Love it.

Music Rally.

Seriously though...lighting and colors in some specific races (and I'm on ps4 with an old Sharp Aquos X20E)

Track Intro's . however...........I seem to be lost a bit with the newer updates of older previous tracks from past GT Games , like WTF...!!! I don't remember this corner being like this .
I got that with deep forest it doesn't feel the same

I LOVE the new Trial Mountain and Deep Forest updates! Especially with all the different time of day stuff. I actually really love the change at the end of Deep Forest. previously if you couldn't make a pass in the first 2 sectors you didn't really have much chance in the last sector, was smart to add a nice tight hairpin to give those last ditch effort passes a chance. I also like the change to the final corner making you really thread the needle at high speeds to avoid the wall especially in faster cars. Trial Mountain and Deep Forest were always 2 of my favs in older games and absolutely love them in GT7.

I ALSO love that when you retry a race you can get different times of day and things to make it a bit more interesting to retry.

The external customization options I couldn't take the stupid smile off my face as I was going through all of them. And finally at last we can have a nicer wheel offset as well. You can tell they really put some time into each car on dialing in the look of wide body, aero parts, exhausts, etc. I hope they continue adding more and more stuff here, maybe even some popular tuning brand options for certain cars. Ehh Ehh hmm Amuse R1 S2000 parts pls. :)

Shouldn't have been in the game, disappointing
Who cares? It only effects your individual game and doesn't change anything for anyone else. PD will be updating this game for MANY years to come like they did with GT Sport. Game development isn't free.

The love for detail in every part of the game. The feeling you get trough all the visuals, the music, the avatars talking to you and about the cars in the cafe or the real GT-Drivers in the license segment giving you advice and talking about themself, the map, the museum’s,… It isn’t a flawless game, but it all comes together to create something truly unique and special, you can’t get this feeling in any other racing game.
