Bike vs Car (56k hell, no whinging)

i remember top gear did something like this

it was either a murcielago/gallardo Vs. a ducatti 999

the ducatti just marginally won, very close race

i wonder if bikes can somehow incorporate downforce? mayb they would become wayyyyyyyyyy faster then cars

I know its old but like i said i took them for a friend and thought id share with my fellow GTP mates who DO NOT have MOTOR magazines....

It was August 2005 issue.
 
Dont see how you call that whinging, Im not complaining? I just said ive got that in my MOTOR mag and its pretty old. So people know where it came from and its not in the current issue.

That was cool read, I read it in the mag itself. I was honestly suprised the Porsche was able to get so close to the bikes times. And the fact that Motor was able to rip out a 11.99 1/4 in the 911 too......
 
EVO ran a similar article a few years ago. They brought a Gallardo, a BMW M3CSL and a Radical SR3 to face off against a Crescent (?) Suzuki racing bike.

Of course, they played it out as a marginal bike victory and pointed out all of the handicaps the cars had. The M3CSL just lagged behind, I don't know why it was in the bunch.

I like that picture of the bike driver leaning out of the Porker's door though, that made me laugh a bit :)
