Binnacle/windshield view?

When I first played TT a few weeks or a month ago I just did some quick runs in Arcade. Since then I've played exclusively in TT mode.

For some reason, I'm recalling a first person view in Arcade that showed the actual instruments and fairing of the bike you're riding, but I can't seem to find that in Simulation mode.

Was I hallucinating?

I couldn't find it anywhere, though that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Nice The Fragile quote in your signatue, BTW...

id double check where it is, but, i just started a money ring run in GT4.

I don't recall if there's a default view in options; it just seems to remember the last view you've used and stays with that until you change it.

wfooshee - yeah, i just gave it a look through and didnt see it list so i came to the same conclusion ... im a bit curious what the "picture quality settings" do though.

[edit - interesting. you can adjust how the replay looks ... i wonder if it effects photo mode too?
