This is one of my first posts here! and ill appologise now if i rant! but!! What is with the online banger racing!!?? i only got online with the game about a week ago and thinking that i were charlie (of the chocolate factory) with a golden ticket! i eagerly went online and did all the importants before finally in real time racing with real people and not a machine!! yippeeeeeeeee!!!!!! and then in the 1st corner ............................. OH!!! cheers i was pushed in to the gravel, but un damaged and still high on the excitement, set about chasing down the fiel and getting my first RESULT online.. i pushed really hard and managed to make good lap time and carefully drove my self through the pack ahead of me getting some how back to 5th! with some stella braking on the last few corners i found my self 3rd with an easy 2nd for the last bend and sprint for the line.............. hard on the brakes and i was on my line driving my sox of then!!!! BANG.......SCREEEEEEEECH...GRAVEL TRAP, and the old power kill!!! i was outraged some TO.S.R had bashed me of the track i was in a spin and there it was my first online race sat in the kitty litter watching my 2nd turn to a 11th of 12. GUTTED
Still picking my self up i sat patiently waiting for the next race to load only to be pushed off again and this seemed to be the standard for the 10 or so races i entered untill in total frustration and a real feeling of disapointment i turned the system of and went to bed!
I will admit that on occasions ive outbraked my self and hit another car or slammed the door etc but i was getting brake tested and as a result time penalties, being spun out well if there is a bad move on the list i had it ticked!!
Is this the norm???
Where can i get a real race??#
Are there online race clubs or the such for sensible raceing?
