Thought it might be a good time to post a thread on upcoming video game bargains we find in case it can help anyone in the community. A few bargains I've seen so far:

According to the leaked Kohl's ad I saw on BFAds.net, it looks like they'll be offering the X1S for $190 and will be throwing in $45 Kohl's Cash as part of the deal; PS4 for $200 with $60 Kohl's Cash back. Looks like Target will be offering similar prices, but only offering a $25 Target gift card with the X1S and no gift card with the PS4.

In case anyone hasn't picked up FH3 yet, it looks like Target will have it on sale for only $15 and the upcoming NFS: Payback (at least for XB1) will be on sale for $35 (don't know if the same will apply to the PS4 version or not).

That's all I have for now - if you see anything good, please share it!

Best Buy has posted their Black Friday ad on their website, and they have some great buys in pretty much all of the various categories that they sell. As far as video games:

*PlayStation VR Gran Turismo Sport Bundle* for $300, which includes:
  • Sony Interactive Entertainment PlayStation VR
  • Processor unit
  • Stereo headphones
  • PlayStation Camera
  • Gran Turismo Sport Blu-Ray Disc
  • VR demo disc
  • Cables, adapters and printed materials
NFS: Payback (PS4) for $35
PC2 for PS4 for $30
PS4 for $200
X1S for $190
FM7 for $35

If you have a Xbox or want to take advantage of the MS Xbox sale mentioned in my previous post, starting today and for the next 12 days, you can get one month of Xbox Live Gold for $1, which gives you early access to the sale items starting tomorrow. Just be aware that if you don't cancel or make other Xbox Live arrangements, you will continue to be billed monthly starting the following month at $10/month. The good news is it looks like they're actually giving you a little more than a full month of access as I bought it today myself, and when I look at managing the account, the next billing isn't scheduled until 12/27. And one of the included games this month is Trackmania Turbo.

Early sale items available now for Xbox Live Gold subscribers on Microsoft's site:

Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo $12
WRC 6 $15
Assetto Corsa $17.99
FH3 $24.99
WRC 7 $25
Dirt 4 $30
NFS: Payback $35.99
PC2 $41.99
FYI, FM7 won't go on sale until the 23rd.

They also have some deals on movies and TV too. For example, you can buy a bundle of Transporter 1&2 for $7.99.

I don't have a Meijers anywhere even close to me, nearest one is probably 3 states away but if you are in the market for a Switch, on Black Friday they will be offering $30 off your next shopping trip with the purchase of a Switch. It's the best deal I have found on the console so far. Here is the entire Black Friday list for Meijers.

Hopefully, they'll have a lot more titles on sale starting on the 21st. These do represent some decent values, but it's a fairly short list compared to Microsoft's (I think MS has over 500 games currently on sale).

The next phase of Microsoft's Xbox sale is now live: all of their 500GB Xbox One S bundles are now marked down to $229, including one with FH3 and another with both FH3 & the Hot Wheels expansion pack. Not seeing a bundle with FM7 at the moment - maybe later in the week? We'll see.

FYI, the FH3 w/Hot Wheels X1S bundle is also available now from Amazon for $229 as well, which is where I just bought mine a moment ago since I had a bunch of Amazon gift card credits saved to my account. Xmas starts early this year! ;)

Just saw the same bundle also available from Best Buy for essentially the same price, so with any luck, it may be available for the same price at just about any retailer that carries it.

So...I gave in and picked up 'For Honor' for £18 (looks good so far -graphics on PS4 Pro) and 'HZD' for £25 oh and a VR World game for £12..while they are on offer for a few days. Bargains really as I just never got round to them yet.

I am also tempted by a few more like Wolfenstein2, WWar2 and to try ACreed Origins to try out but may have to wait, as they have all come at once again and I am sure they will be in a sale again as they are quite new.

Has anyone else found anything they like? 👍

OF COURSE GTAV is on heavy discount right when I don't have the money to buy it. I so want to get back into it but knowing my luck it'll be right back up to full price right as soon as I can afford it.

Absolutely! As I mentioned in a previous post, I bought the FH3 X1S bundle from Amazon on Sunday, and it's already in my state, so hopefully it will get delivered later today or tomorrow. And I took advantage of the MS sale for Infinite Minigolf, WRC 6 & NFS: Payback. Planning on buying FM7 as soon as it goes on sale. I bought a month of access to Xbox Live Gold for $1 to gain early access to the sale - might buy a longer term subscription if I get enough out of it and can get it at discount.

Besides the video game stuff, I'm a film & TV buff. I don't subscribe to cable TV and use Amazon Prime & I'm trying out Hulu basic while it's on sale - it's available for signup at $5.99/month until January 9th (?), and the price is locked for a full year if you subscribe during the sale. I try to buy digital films & TV shows when they're especially cheap to supplement my subscription(s), and just bought the 1st seasons of 2 Broke Girls & The Mentalist for $5 each as well as Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce for $10 from Amazon. Also bought the movie Collateral for $7 and Interstellar for $8. And I'm also trying out 3 months of Amazon's Music Unlimited service for $1. :)

You can't go wrong with that one. Bought at last week with a reduction as well and it has been a huge surprise for me. The violence is of another order though and it took me a bit to get used to. Blasting Nazis in a real fun way and the whole game is set up really cool. The moment the rock music kicks in when you are going to slaughter dozens is simply 👍 The graphics, the level design (there are one or 2 less exciting levels) the differents in weapons and that lovely axe. By far my favorite of the second half of the year

Miss Engel is a complete brutal nutcase

I didn't get it as I read it was very hard and I am not the best at games that do not have a wheel or a race seat but I am giving them all a try the last year or so. So far I am enjoying HZD. I had a few hours on it and will post up some pics (amazing detail).

So you recommend Wolfenstein2 for a shooter, will I get through the levels? I got through Doom ok on easy (just about) :sly: 👍

I play on the easiest difficulty to get used to it and play through the story. It isn't to challenging at this level :O

Oh I give in so easy, it does look good watching the graphics. I might get that then and save for a rainy day while it is 50% off! It looks like I will be busy 👍

Sony has updated their Black Friday sale listings for the U.S. Playstation store - looks like over 170 titles now. They have Dirt 4 for $30, NFS: Payback for $36, and previous NFS titles for $10 or less, but no GTS sale.

Has anyone else found anything they like? 👍
I was expecting to see some indie games (Kona, Perception, Little Nightmares, Edit Finch etc.) on sale, but this Black Friday seems to be mainly about AAA games.
And no 30% discount for PCARS2 on the italian PS store, but maybe that's a good thing since I'm still not entirely sure about it...

I picked this up and so far it is a bit violent (only just got in the boots) but I didn't think he would actually shoot that poor dog! She took the head straight off that lady and then picked it up!.. That was gruesome  All in the first 15 mins...👍

If you're a Lord of the Rings fan or just enjoy carnage in general, Shadow of War is on sale for $25.00 for Amazon Prime members.

I played Shadow of Mordor on xBox which was awesome and I've heard great things about Shadow of War. Excited for it to arrive now! GTS might have some competition for play time on my system this next month:D

I wasn’t going to buy anything, but getting both The Fractured but Whole and The Stick of Truth for $40 swayed me. Plus I need a break from racing games.
