we are bleeding the brake lines on our el camino and ran into some trouble. The right rear and left front tires bled fine, but the right front and left rear are not getting any brake fluid to them. Has this happened to any of you before? Any ideas and what the problem could be?

Are you just pushing air out of the bleeder with no fluid, or when you bleed it nothing at all comes out of the bleeder? If nothing at all like air or spatter is coming out of the bleeder, thread the bleeder out and shuv a needle or compressed air threw it, it might have a cloged passage. Same thing happend on my 91 Talon, the left rear didnt bleed anything, poped out the bleeder and cleaned it and it bled fine.

If you have the bleeder screws out (I bet they're rusty as heck), look into replacing them with "speed bleeders". These are pretty much just like regular bleeder screws, except they have a ball-check valve in them so you can bleed the brakes more easily, or even by yourself.

You may also want to invest in a bleeding jar, which lets you actually suck fresh fluid through all the lines until they are clean.
