i just noticed this yesterday.

there's a blimp hovering over the deep forest raceway. it's kinda hard to see unless you know where to look, but it's visible from about the top of the last hill, coming out from under the canopy, until you pass under the bridge on the final stretch. i think it has the Bridgestone logo on it, but i'm not sure. has anyone else seen it?
 
Ill look. You must have gotten tired of that track to notice sumthin like that. I know when Im tired of racing a track I look at the surroundings and have noticed many strange things. Like sumtimes when you enter the pit in the last garage there is a yellow car.
 
Mmm - don't recall seeing it - but I usually have my eyes closed from relief after getting through the last corner without crashing.

I haven't noticed a blimp, but next time I race there I'll try and spot it. I guess that yellow car that your seeing in the last garage could be a pace car? I know GT3 doesn't have pace cars, but normally every race track will have a pace/safety car located toward the end of the pit lane.
 
There is also a blimp at Grandvalley and in Route 246 the is an astronaut or sumthin like one coming out of the building by the parking lot and there are people dressed like the people from starwars(the orange flight suits). They look exactly like them they even have the helmut.
 
Wow, makes you wonder what they were on when they programmed it. :lol:
Maybe they were just trying to see how we pay attention or something. ;)

They are tryin to see if we play the game enough to drive around and look at the scenary. Shows them we have a lot of time on our hands.
 
On Trial Mountain, between the first and second tunnels (going counterclockwise). There is a dead tree spanning diagonally across the track overhead, between the two rock walls. Sitting on that tree is a monkey.
 
whoa....now why the hell would they put all that work into the scenery?

i'd rather they just put in a few more cars.
 
Actually I heard about it at GTP, but the next time I ran the track, I looked for it. It's there.

BTW, welcome aboard, Greg! Volunteer firefighter, or paid? And from where?
