Blocking Avatars?

Is there a site function to block individual avatars, or would I have to resort to a browser addon of some sort to do so? I'm guessing as far as site functionality goes, it's all of them off or nothing, but I figured I would ask to see if there's something I missed in the settings page (since I'm a member of another board that lets you do it).

I'm not asking because I've seen an avatar that goes against the AUP, but simply because I've seen one that's annoying me and I'd rather constantly not see it if I can get away with it.

I don't think GTP has this function however I know some boards do have the option to have a "user disable" function of some sort so it only applies to you.

You can disable avatars globally, not individually. Would need a custom Adblock filter to do that.

I have to ask, what is about this Avatar that is so annoying?
Not asking for names (obviously), just whether it's a person, animal etc. :)

Redacted my original post as that disables avatars globally and not on an individual basis, which is what Toronado was asking. Whoops.

Thanks for the quick answers guys. Got another question. If I block it with Adblock, if the member was to change to a different avatar in the future would I have to then unblock it? Or would it only block that specific avatar?

I assume the former based on how GTP's avatar uploading works, but it would be great if it didn't.

I'd rather not say.

If they change it or re-upload it, it becomes a new avatar and you'd have to re-block it. No un-blocking necessary, though.

Experience talking. ;)

Just to confirm, there is no functionality in the software that supports this, other than the ignore feature.
