Is it just me, or have the blow off valves/pop off valves been removed from GT3???? That was one of my favourite parst of GT2, I can't beleive they would remove something like this. If I'm wrong, please correct me, as this is really dissapointing, along with the third viewpoint being removed. Apart from that, its an awesome game, and I can't believe how good the graphics are.

First of all, the graphics rock!! DUH!!! Playstation 2 man!!

Secondly, the blow off valves are included in one of the engine upgrades...i am not playing right now so i can't check...but rest assured...its in there

I've got the Australia version (in case its different in the Japanese version). I've only had the game a few days and have just bought a Skyline and did the Stage 3 turbo upgrade, theres a picture of a BOV on the upgrade screen, but I don't hear it!!!!! :(

I LIKE AUSSIES!!! YAY!!!!

Anyway, the skyline should get stage four turbo. WTF? what kinda skyline do u have? I have an R34 V-spec II wit 1051 HP. ***smiles proudly*** and you?

You can hear the BOV when your driving with the inside view, but I've never heard it when driving with the outside view...

I can hear them easily...

heheh, glad you like Aussies, I've got the Skyline GTS-t Type M (R32,J). I bought it because I wanted a rear wheel drive skyline for drifting purposes. Its only allowed the Stage3 kit :( and will probably only get around 420hp, not too bad though.

Thanks Josh, I just tried it then, and I can hear it 'in the car', not between gears, but if you back off the throttle, you can hear it quietly. I wish they were louder and audible from outside, like they were in GT2, but I guess you can't have everything, for some reason :(

I have the GT1 Road Car, and while riding inside, you can hear it really good.. you punch it, and Pop Pop Pop, as you change gears.. It's Killer:thumbsup:

It's very loud in my fully tuned Lancer, as well as my Skyline.

But, on cars like a fully tuned TT, it's not really noticable.

one of you must have read that new article in the new road and track, they got like a 3 pager on it pertaning to racing, and also they say the GTR is coming to america under teh infinity label

A friend of mine has been discussing the Skyline's future in the US directly with Nissan. They are sticking to the "no way, no how" platform.

to the contrary your friend aint gona get s h i t from nissan, check out the new road adn track and look at the furture car story, its like one of the last pages of the story, and you will see that hopes are high

I'm not saying that they are wrong. I'm just telling you what Nissan PR is saying. I sincerly hope that Nissan is just giving him the shove-off, and the GTR will truly make it to the states!

there werre mentions in teh article that the gtr will loose all of its badges and take on a more infinity like name (Q45 I30) somthing along those lines

Interesting...

I've noticed Infiniti taking a more 'performance' oriented approach to their cars lately...
