Comparable to what, the GT.. they don't need to be? If 25,000 people want to buy a roadster, how is that different to 25,000 people wanting to by a GT?

Roadsters are traditionally a much smaller market than executive cars. Selling fewer of them isn't a big deal.

.. and the GT doesn't have a traditional market to live up to.

The GT was never intended to do 3, 5, or even 7 series numbers... I suspect the profits on the GT are higher than on the Z's, and they sell more... so where's the beef?

Why is it okay to not sell many Z4's, but the "niche-from-the-outset" 5GT is expected to somehow be a big volume seller?
 
My dad drove one of these he said he couldn't see out the back window lol
