I don't know why I waited so long to tune this car. The game should start you with an M3 CSL. I left mine mostly stock, only catalytic sports and exhaust sports for hp gains. Except, of course, for the fully customizable suspension kit. Now, this car is meant to be my grüne hölle hexenmeister, a car damned for eternity to lap the north course, slowing only for fuel and intimidation burnouts. Furthermore, I quite enjoy 500pp online races so I chose to stay with this power:weight as it came out at 502pp.
I found the suspension settings you had to be too stiff in general. Worst of all, I thought, were the roll bar settings with the rear stiffer than the front, probably responsible for your (too) high decel diff setting. I thought this car's stock diff was spot on, if I had a couple hundred extra hp or for a long distance race I might bump the initial torque up to ten or 12 for the tyre's sake.
Here's what I came up with and ran dangerously close to 7:00 with 502pp after only a few laps:
weight reduction: N/A
engine: leave it...
rigidity: if you must.
aero: not on my ****in bimmer
catalytic converter: sports
exhaust: sports
tranny: stock renders 6th useless, cool 5 speed
drivetrain: fully adjustable, set to stock
suspension front/rear:
