on the new site from gran turismo: http://www.us.playstation.com/Content/OGS/SCUS-97328/Site/ is a carlist and in that car list by BMW you see the first car: BMW M3 racing car but not in white and blue like in the other screenshots (down here) but it is red and black (see manage attachments). Will we able to choose racing car colors before racing like normal cars, or is that painted in the "paint shop" in Gt resort?

quick question, wrong thread but meh i have a surprise.. has there been in game footage of a pitcrew and pitstop yet? the blue audi TT dtm? if not....well...i have a chirstmas present. in the morning :)

Hmm Your right. I looked at the front bumper and thought of the 320i because it didnt look as pronounced as a normal M3

Apart from the fact that one has 2 doors and the other has 4...

I think the only footage of pit stops yet is teh clip of the pit crew working on teh Ford GT race car in promo footage, a clip of the Blue Abt Audi DTM being worked on and the pic of the Bently Speed 8 being worked on.
 
What pic of the Bentley being worked on, I've only seen one pic of that car and thats a garage screen pic.
 
I haven't seen that pic yet.

There's a pic floating around of a dodgy screenshot, where the Bently is in the pits and it has pit crew around it working on it. I would find it now except I'm going to bed. I'll find it for you on.......well not tomorrow.......not the day after........is monday good enough? :dopey: :)
If not anyone else care to elighten him on what he's missing? Plus I wouldn't know even where to start.
 
I'll probably have seen it by then, thanks anyway though wee_man.

Anywayz live shouldn't you be in bed with your missus as it's xmas or has that all ended. I thought you said ages ago you were living with her or something? When I say in bed, I don't mean giving it glory for england......you get what I mean.........in the non in ur face..........I give up.
 
well i think THE M3 with the red front is either THE 2003 VERSION(CUZ THE 2003 LOOKS BLACK AND RED INDEED, but without #1!) OR a big mistake cuz just look at the MC LAREN F1!!!!!----->THIS CAR IS "RED" at the front , too!!!!and the mc laren has NUMBER 1 EITHER though it had #42 in Prologue and IN REALITY!!!

so i think its a mistake cuz there wasn´t an M3 with the basic blue/white BMW-colors AND some red there at the front(there was just an M3 racin in the ALMS which looked similar!)

...i know and i just wanted to clear it up for those who don´t know why there´s suddenly a M3 with red front(i think the colors aren´t just put in on that site in a correct way yet cuz the site is soo new)!!!
but beautiful site, really.....;>
 
The M3's are 2 different years one is from 01 and the other 03.
As for the Mclaren, the one with red is the #1 car and the one without it is the #42 car, so we just have 2 cars from the same team.
 
the two M3 GTR's has been covered, one is the race version (2001), the other is the road version (2003). The question is, are the two race cars pictured two different models (although both have the exact same bodywork), or are they a result of the paint shop or different builds of the game. Also there was no McLaren F1 GTR with the red splitter at the front, and there was no number 1 car either.
 
I would say thats about the tuning in general, it should also mention the ability to change colours if there is one, bu that site doesn't seem to go into any depth over any of it's subjects covered.
 
I think this is just a matter of choosing the color when buying the car (if it's actually possible to buy it instead of receive it as an award) in simulation mode and in arcade mode.
