What now?

I don't know... He seems to have linked to a load of images of BMW E60 M5s, some modified, to show that "the BMW M5" in GT5 isn't the right one. Or something.

There are, of course, two E60 M5s in GT5 - a 2005 model and a post-facelift 2008 model (which seems to be what he's asking for).

This. I have 2 M5's, one from 2005 and another from 2008 and in my opinion they don't look much different.

It is many differnce from Facelift and before facelift!! The headlamps the backlights the interior. I have work by BMW and I have in real a M5 facelift and it is many differnce between GT5

I'm not to fussed whether PD include the facelift M5, however the M5 F10 would be nice, as it's a V8 turbo? or supercharge? I believe :) Most of those other BMW's I can live without, obviously you're a big BMW fan. Premium Ruf's, or Porsche (I know it's not going to happen) would get my vote.

The taillight on the E60 M5 in GT5 seems to be the facelifted version.

Personally I can't see how the slight differences in the facelift version would affect how the car drives in the game. :indiff:
From my brief search on the internet, all the facelift was is some slight cosmetic changes on the exterior and interior.

This. I don't see a valid reason why people are kicking up a 🤬 about the 2005 model and the face-lifted model (2008) when the only difference is a few, almost un-noticeable cosmetic changes.

BMW M5 F10 is V8 with Twin Turbo 560HP

I'm with this guy. I want the tail lights on my M5 looking like the facelifted one.

I'm not very knowledgeable about cars, but I've seen the tail lights of the facelifted M5 before in real life and thought they were just aftermarket tail lights. So I wasn't all that fussed when I see the premium M5 without those tail lights. Now that I know, I really want the facelifted tail lights for my premium M5. :grumpy:

It just looks so much better than the current tail lights of the premium M5. :yuck:

What?

I'm pretty sure it IS the facelifted one as my father has a E60 535d M Sport, and it's also a 2008 with the facelift rear lights.

If I'm not mistaken, the M5 '08 does have the facelift rear lights too.

Drive on the Nurburgring and you'll see the lights come on and you'll be able to tell the difference.

What's good to you for that? Are there any benefits/advantageous factors obtainable for you through addition of the facelifted version of M5? It only looks like a individual desire that is not influential to PD to have them grant your personal longing...

Oh sorry should i place my wishlist down here too?

No need to be sarcastic man, he is just stating his opinion. This is a forum after all, right?

I understand him, he's just a car junkie like most of us! I remember righting a post about why an Enzo did not have a turbo not so long ago...and needless to say, I got a really good answer out of it.

I agree, maybe the facelift isn't as important, but having a M5 with a turbocharged V8 certainly is!

And I could say a Ferrari 365 Daytona is more important than your ugly Bimmer. Or the 308. Or the 125. Or the 288. Or the Testarosa. Or the 375.

OP: I see no point in going crazy over a simple cosmetic change that is unnoticeable unless you actually compare the older one to the so-called "facelifted" newer one (which I still have a hard time spotting the "big difference" between the two) under a high-power telescope. Maybe Forza is for you - they have the 650, 1M, X5/6, original M3 (as I've been told), and a few others you'll probably never spot in GT5.

My favourite BMW's are the M3's and E39 M5's

To Philipp STi - Can you please tell us what the differences are between the two M5's you talk about in more detail, I am interested :)

The 08 is the Facelift. The LED striped lighting at the rear confirm it.
The '05 which is standard doesn't have it.

Yes sir, you are right. Took my M5 to the 'Ring just now and there they were, the LED stripes, BUT, they don't stand out as much as in real life. I can only notice the stripes of LED from certain angles and distances. :yuck:

But, in my opinion, I don't think the tail lights of the premium M5 look anything close to the tail lights of the facelifted M5 in real life, don't you agree? :(

Anyway, if PD ever decide to update the car models(yes, I'm including head lights/tail lights), like how they updated the V10 engine in the R8 5.2(remember the R8 5.2 used to have a V8 in the engine bay?), I hope they include an update for these two cars:

- Audi R8 5.2 V10, because of the head lights which I believe to be the headlights copied from the R8 4.2 and,

- BMW M5, because of the tail lights which, in my opinion look nothing like it does in real life.
