BMW V12 LMR `99 wow what a looker (NOT)

Well i just paid 1.9 mill for one of these BMW V12 LMR `99 and its a good job it goes better than it looks ,
squared angular wheel openings,body lines that bleed and are jagged , the air ducts are two dimensional and look like stickers,
for the price and level of this car i really thought a bit more effort could have been made

what cars have you bought that were over a million and look as if the tea lady at PD had rendered

Yeah not a premium car.

I bought it and love it though. I primarily use the drivers seat view.

You do realize this Bimmer was nearly 4 million [USD] in GT5 right? None of the insignificant things (squared angular wheel openings,body lines that bleed and are jagged , the air ducts are two dimensional and look like stickers) you listed affect the performance of this Le Mans winner and legend at all. This car was great and rare in GT5 and is fantastic yet again in GT6. And don't forget... at the end of the day, it's not the car, it's the pilot.

Im glad you took the time to read where i said "its a good job it goes better than it looks" as the performance and handling were not being questioned

The point was what cars have people purchased in game only to find the rendering somewhat of a disappointment when compared with its cost or significant racing history

Even when viewed on a quality 50" HD flat screen you get very little idea of what it looks like detail wise until you have made the purchase (yes i know this is because its not a premium model) but its still a surprise to see such a significant model not portrayed in a better manner
