I've been prowling the Used Car Dealership for some time for a car to enter events like, Like the wind, etc. Im level 23.

I came across the car mentioned. Anyone know how it does? Does anyone own/race with it? Advice? Its 3,758,865 Cr.

Is it worth buying or should I keep saving for the other cars always mentioned for the upper class races?

Thanks for the advice

I think this ar will be able to win it..though I'm not entirely sure! The reason I say this is in my GT All stars (which features most cars that also races in like the wind) this BMW V12 LMR ended up second in the championship behind me with my Toyota Minolta

from previous experience on GT4 this is a good car. However I havent driven it on GT5 as of now!!

Yes its a big deal for me right now. I have just enough Cr. to buy it. So I'll be breaking the bank on this one or waiting for another car to come along. :(

In the meantime, I'm off to create I mean edit a track....:sly::sly: Untill I get some good evidence about the car.

What level is your highest B-Spec driver? You can win the premium Zonda R in B-Spec GT World Championship and use that to win "Like the Wind." You can also use the RM ZR-1, among other cars. Unless you really want the BMW, you don't need to spend much money.

The BMW like all LMP cars will win the race with ease. It is actually a very good car for many events and can compete with the other LMP cars.

I would advise save the money for the FGT at level 24 skip the like the wind race if need be.

My B-spec is level 21. I already have the Zonda R.
I saw the FGT probally 15 races ago, now its gone. :( Doubt I'll see it any time soon again.

Im leaning towards saving my money and waiting for something better to swing through the Used Car Dealership.
Its still up for debate though.

I saw the FGT at level 23 maybe once before that but you have to be level 24 to get it and it ain't cheap nor does it show up real often. I would suggest that you try to keep a cushion of 5 million as you get to level 24 and keep that cushion until you see the FGT. You will need it and it would suck to have it pop up and not have enough to buy it.

If you just want to win the race, you should try the Mazda Furai Concept you get from some B-spec low level event,

OR sink 700' credits in a Corvette ZR1 and race mod and tune it to the max. You should be able to win the event in one of these cars.

The reward you get from this is the Toyota Minolta 88C race car, at 850kg and 1040 BHP when it is run-in and fresh oil. The Minolta enables you to destroy any event it is allowed to participate in.

However, if you want the car for that money, I don't think its a bad investment. I'm just not sure how it compares to other LMP cars. (The Group C cars are more powerful though). Just something to think about if you just want to clear the event. Good Luck :)

Don't waste the money on the BMW V12 if you are saving up for the FGT, use the Furai and smoke the competition. The car you win in A-Spec will win in B-Spec (and will be fun to watch).

You have convinced me. I will keep my benjamins for the FGT. (Time to start grinding :))

It just sucks to pass up a LMP car ya know, especially when I have been saving money for such a long time.

As for the Furai or the Zonda R, I will give those a try in the races. Thanks for all the advice and help. GT Planet is AWESOME!👍👍👍👍👍 This game would be so much more difficult without the knowledge and data that this website offers. I think that this site makes GT5 better in many ways.:)
