Bobby Rahal Straight?

I mentioned this in another thread but apparently no one seems to care, so i thought I bring it up here:

In Forza 1, the straight leading to the Corkscrew was called Bobby Rahal Straight or something like that (in fact, it was displayed on the overhang immeltitly before the Corkscrew). Yet in GT4, the overhang was blank. Nothing on it. Did anybody find this weird?

It's called the Rahal Straight in real life too, not just in Forza.

Is there a big sign saying "Rahal Straight" in that position at the Mazda Raceway?

There was in Forza 1, but not in GT4.

God, I wish I had proof.

I have no idea, I don't have Speed Channel, because otherwise I would know (sometimes on ESPN they show the classic car races at Laguna Seca but I don't watch them so...).

All I know is, I saw it in Forza 1 but didn't see it in GT4. I don't know if Laguna Seca is in Forza 2 or not because I haven't played the game yet, but I was asking a general question, if anybody found it strange.

Maybe you're right, Daan, maybe it was just for FM and nothing else because if it was, it would be in GT4.

I've looked at videos in GT4, and that billboard has the Gran Turismo insigmia on it

Pause at 44 Sec.
And, as we know, Forza 2 shows Rahal on it.
