This list is not related to race modification.

The database may exclude the big generic 'Gran Turismo' GT wings (those of the same type that you could add in GT4) that you can put on 99.99% (likely factually incorrect) of the cars.
Rear spoiler options that are a GT wing, but are the same colour as the car are accepted. If still confused i'll try get pics to demonstrate what i mean.

A better layout may be done later.
You can help me out by going through the list here and only copying the below information for cars that do have aerodynamic components (car name, and list of aero mods it has).

This list hasn't yet been completed, or verified - verification will go ahead after the entire list of cars is in the list below, which means some cars may be added to or removed from this list!

List not complete!

I initially just intended to put this list on the Gran Turismo Series Center when i eventually got around up updating the whole site to the new look (site hasn't been updated since 2006!) but then realised i couldn't create and verify the list without the help of GTP, so it will be here in this topic too incase theres anyone else out there like me who'd like to know which cars you can put bodykits on before buying them and discovering its a no no.

FYI - the GTSC is not, and never will be, a GTP competitor. Its just my personal fan site/database that i've had up and running since 2001 (not long after GTP started actually).

Oh. Well. Might take a proper look at that when i get time. Cheers. :)

that just kinda gives the obvious info, rear wings types a-b-c from Gt4 on most standard models except racecars and some older pre 1980cars; most premium models are "bodykitable" except some FF hatchbacks, all race cars and some older classic cars. thats my basic rule of thumb

I wish they would have spent a little more time on the bodykits in the game. It seems like some cars they stopped halfway. Most namely the S13, where the heck is the rear bumper? Looks ugly and unbalanced.

Yeah they did that in Forza too - can't see why they didn't put rear bumpers in too.

Started on the list, but unfortunately don't have too much time to dedicate to completing it at the moment, if ya'll could help me out by getting the rest of the cars (see first post) it would save a lot of hassle!

this has been done in the german gtrp-forum for

I guess it should give you some information even if you don't speak german.

This page is actually pretty useful. I don't speak German, but my browser (Google Chrome) does. I just had it translate it for me. Not sure about other browsers.

I think my Ferrari F430 Scuderia qualifies for the list. I'll look up the prices and edit this post later (my b-guys are racing right now).

Shame GT5 didn't include some tuner shops in addition to GT Auto. Companies like AC Schnitzer, Veilside, Hamman, etc make great looking products for a variety of cars.

Well, when you go into GT Auto to see what the prices are for things you've already purchased, there's a bright red INSTALLED banner covering the price. But, I think the rear spoiler was 15k; can't tell what the front was.

Maybe with some DLC we'll get more of this, at least we can hope and 'tweet' Kaz about it. I know the Jaguar XKR premium 09' model I think it is has a front, extension, rear and wing body kit. One of the best looking kits on the game IMO.

Don't tweet him; put your suggestion here instead.

:p
I like making up names, if it makes it easer. ;)

Google Chrome translates that page for me too, hence how i got the info in the first post.

Ub3r bump.

I'm still real keen on getting this database done, so if anyone could help me finish it i'd be very appreciative!

My GT site is still only halfway updated, haven't worked on it for a month or two now. :(

Just fyi, I'm pretty sure they are called Aero Kits. I'm not even sure bodykitable is a word, is it. Sounds like a word an 8 year old would say, lol.

Its a word now, so thats all that matters. :p

bigberry, i was working my way down through the list on the link in the bold text - the cars in my first post were as far down the list as i got. :(

Cheers for any/all help peeps. :) The bigger contributors will be mentioned/thanked in the original post as well as my site.

the Mercedes SLR 16 inch wheel version also gets the full body kit
total price a a whopping 36,000.....i think
