if you want to play japanese games on you US ps2, and dont want to mess with chips and void any kind of warrenty or possibly ruin you ps2, get a boot disk. places sell them, mut you can download the software from a mIRC sever or some other file sharing programlike kazaa or morpheus. then burn the stuff on a regular cd-r, and put it in your ps2, wait a minute and it will tell you to put in the Japanese game and thats it.
 
Hey thats cool but my morphus is down tonight for some reason. I down loaded the new version and still will not work>>>>??
 
there are different versions, some enable you to do different things. i've seen some that you can buy that allow you to do things like put in cheat codes like a game shark. i got mine off kazaa, i dont have any imports, so i personally havent tested it, but i have a friend that uses the same thing

p.s.s.: f1king, how can you leave a.j. and michel schumacher out of your top 5?
 
The only reason I left AJ off was it was for F1 drivers only and AJ is one of the greatest of all time but not in F1 but he is one of them. As for MS I dont like him he has not guts and he is lucky. You should read through some of the F1 threads and see what i have to say, really I just dont like the guy because i think he is lucky. He got where he is now because of luck. Even 4 championships later and the most wins ever I still think hes lucky.
 
Well Dale is one of the gutsiest drivers ive ever seen, I think he would have been great.
