Hi! My girlfriend bought borderland 2 and she's blocked at the mission " save operation " something like that, the game is in french so.. Well she is blocked when you need to kill the guardian. Also I have no idea which part you're talking about, I think the translation must be different because there is no quest called Save Operation. Also the Guardian; are you talking about Borderlands or Borderlands 2? The Guardians were in Borderlands, unless that's also a mistranslation.

Borderland 2, somewhere a little bit after the begening of the game, theres some flying machine and like 10-20 robots and 5-10 human. You need to kill those guys to get to a "guardian" in the middle of the map. In french the mission is called "operation sauvetage" i bet in english is saving operation.

Did you have to destroy around 12 big guns beforehand? The only thing I can think of is BNK3R, is this the one?

If so, there is a glitch associated with it where if you destroy it it doesn't always land where it's supposed to and you can't progress. The best thing to do is to join other online games with players on the same quest and do it again.
