But they said the source was "100% concrete ultra high level." lol these reports come out every year as e3 ramps up
trust me everyone wants the next console to be announced but we've grown a little skeptical over the years from all sorts of false claims. there are postings of job openings related to console development at sony and microsoft so we know they're developing it, but dont get your hopes up too high, all the signs point to 2014. this year we'd be lucky to here anything but a confirmation that they're working on it

The source MCV also stated a year ago that the Thrustmaster T500RS would be available at hmv stores by Jan 2011.

That never happened and I don't even think they ever stocked the product.

At some point this year we may get an idea of the replacement consoles but I doubt very much they will be available to buy until late next year. I would be very surprised if they appeared in 2012.

Haha are you giving up your quest for pc sim racing? i am in the same boat, there is no good deals going on laptops right now due to the hard drive shortages because of all the flooding in india and china. bestbuy was almost wiped out of everything and the guy said the next few months the prices may or may not rise... He didnt make it sound all warm and fuzzy. sounds like it might be better to wait a few months and see if ivey bridge and/or windows 8 brings anything new or at least shakes things up in a stagnant pc market right now. i'm dissapointed because i want to get a sandy bridge laptop for PROJECT C.A.R.S but theres no deals on right now for anything with a good moble graphics card

It wasn't as much the amount of money... But I like the plug and play of consoles. Something that some pc racers have warned me about

I get that. i like plug n play n play too. the elite isnt like that but i made an exception. good thing it hasnt turned out to be top much of a hassle like i thought it might

ATM its just fw you have to do... If someone bought the elite in six months it would be complete plug and play
