Both versions of GT7

Starting a new thread as I am not clear on whether I can delete the PS4 data. I have the PS4 game disc and paid the $10 upgrade and loaded it on my PS5. Now the PS5 currently has both the PS4 version and PS5 version on it. I have been playing the PS5 version. The PS4 version is taking up 131.4 GB of storage and the PS5 version is taking up 132.1 GB. Can I delete the PS4 version? I prefer to not have all that storage being taken up as I will not be playing the PS4 version on my PS5. I realize I will always have to insert the disc to play the game.

You can delete the GT7 installation at any time without worry; your progress is tied to your PSN account and is not locally saved.

Thanks, but my question is whether the PS4 version of the game needs to be on the PS5 or not? I want to delete the PS4 version and just have the PS5 version on it. I would think there is no need for the PS4 version?

And I don't think you need to open a new thread when the previous one already had discussion on this very matter.
