Bought a bunch of stuff for my apartment

...feels weird typing that . In roughly three months I will be moving out of my parents place for the first time ever. I'm excited & scared at the same time. I bought a toaster, 32-peice dinnerware set, coffee maker, blender, pizza pan (every guy living alone needs one of these), & a 7-piece pot & pan set.

I've got a nice selection of posters to hang up. Been visiting the local video-rental place for old movie posters that they sell for $1. I got a realy sweet Species 3 poster the other day from them. I have never even seen that movie but the poster was sweet.

Now all I need are silverware, a bean bag, & some sort of futon (I can't afford a couch right now).

Anyways....just felt like sharing.
 
Cool! Moving into your own place is exciting. Sounds like you've got a better start on the essentials than most guys do. Stay within your budget and add the more exciting bits one at a time, and you'll get there!

Make sure you get a nice futon like you are talking about. I have one in my room, and it doubles as my bed. It's great because you can use it as a couch and then lay it out when you want to lay down. Very awesome 👍.
 
Dude, you haven't got a microwave yet!

I'm most likely going to be moving out for the first time in the summer. I'll probably be doing the exact same things in the near future. Good luck once you move out!

Yeah, I just recently joined. I thought is was like the perfect forum for me. I love cars & videogames (especially GT).
